IIRC, Israel jumped the gun with a beta version the US didn't want to release, but Israel fucked over US and released anyway, leading to Stuxnet eventually getting discovered. That pissed off Obama and the US elite hacking team and likely stopped further hacking cooperation in the later years.

  2. Laundered funds? How the fuck do communist government workers have tens of millions?

  3. This doesn't compute.

  4. I don't think you understand how the "water is wet" thing is used. It's certainly NOT like saying Jews are Nazis. You've got to be the dumbest person on the Internet today.

  5. All those bases are there with permission and contribute to local economy AND protect their asses. I don't think you found a good metric.

  6. In Canada, we hired a Russian to work on firmware for embedded wireless product. His HTML was awful. It was a few years before someone asked what he was working on in his spare time, it was something to do with rockets. He was a motherfucking rocket scientist with a PhD. His wife was a doctor in Russia but not Canada certified to practise. AND THEY STILL DIDN'T WANT TO LIVE IN RUSSIA.

  7. Isn't there some sort of averaging across different products and industries? I don't see restaurants raising prices matching inflation, I see price increases of $0.50-$1.00, often 5-10%. Yesterday, was the first time I saw a restaurant do $0.30 increase on nearly every item. So the rate is different for the $2.29 and $10.29 items.

For wireless, they don't have the power, the antennas, or the receive sensitivity of a typical router AP. It would be OK for occasional use, but not for home use with streaming and backups. They really are fucking slow (this is relative, of course), just fucking google it.

On nearly ALL devices, accessing the webGUI during high and sustained throughput takes a hit on the throughput. Might be because of it being a bridge, or from the limited CPU/RAM. When trying to build a scalable platform, you do want to avoid individually managed interfaces and not have double the work dealing with on and off device management.

I once interviewed at Fortinet. I made some joke about CIA backdoor access and the response wasn't so much a denial, as a 'we work with law enforcement' type response. I was not expecting the exact way it was said, somewhat proudly.

  11. I wonder if they are training their AI to triage bug reports/fixes and the fucking AI is still garbage.

  12. I'm pretty sure Tim Cook would win over Trump in an election.

  13. Holy shit, you drink all kinds of Kool-aid. Something must be tainting your water supply.

  14. Is that number confirmed by tax returns? Some day he'll have to answer about lying to the public or the IRS. I'd say if he wasn't president, he would have been iced from the billionaires club ages ago once they learned how he scammed Forbes all those years.

  15. Oh shit! He capitalized some words, so he's gotta be right. Fucking annoying.

  16. Do you? Tariffs on $1000 phone is higher than a $200 phone. A 20% increase in price for ZTE is easier to deal with than 20% on an iPhone. As long as the Tariffs were against everyone, it would be an advantage for ZTE. Now, you think about how stupid what you typed was.

  17. She started in 2000, not the 90's. Bill also never fucked Lewinsky, he couldn't get it up. You are truly patheticpathetic.

  18. I can only speak for this foreigner, but yes, I've lost a metric shit ton of respect for US with Trump in power. Compared to Obama, who got a Nobel for sweet fuck all, vs Trump that has websites dedicated to counting his lies, in the thousands. Feel free to ignore foreigners, but don't be deluded in believing that the world respects them the same as Obama era. No fucking way.

  19. That's every fucking religion that uses the Bible or Koran.

  20. Holy shit, that first thing you said is seriously stupid. It's like you don't believe in education. You've spouted some pretty bad shit on here (so that checks out), but damn, that's stupid. I worry about people like you in this world.
