The PlayOn media server lets me stream Hulu and other content providers to my TV via upnp/DLNA. It's a $40 product (ie commercial product) and as far as I know, Hulu has not raised a stink about them.
The market valued them as a standalone entity. The 100% premium reflects IBM's assessment of what Sun is worth as a part of IBM. This is a proper use of the word "synergy."
This is bigger than Facebook. I supposedly have a verizon.net email address since I signed up for FIOS. I have no clue what that email address is since I've been using Gmail and other services for years. Who knows what kinds of messages are sitting in that never-opened inbox; maybe even a subpoena, but I'd never know.
They did the same gag again on Sunday with another batch of canceled Fox shows (all the horses in a race were named after canceled shows). Then, you hear a woman scream to Peter, "your horse killed my baby!!!" So, apparently Family Guy can now get away with killing babies because that's how bad Fox screwed up cancelling them twice before!
Let's take this a step further...our children will only learn to watch video programming in an on-demand fashion. They will laugh at the idea of broadcast, or "push TV," as I like to call it.
Install the PlayOn media server on a Windows PC. It's a DLNA server that will stream Hulu and your Netflix queue to any DLNA client. I've used it with Boxee, Xbox 360 and Apple TV w/XBMC. It's a one-time fee of $30, but so handy for so many devices!
...are going to be expressions of righteous indignation and showings-off of how their ad-blocking software and proxies prevent them from viewing the free programming that CBS provides. Time to warm up the wahhhhhmbulance.
Looks perfectly acceptable to me. Technically, that's not a pop-up. I think of pop-ups as entirely separate windows...that is built into the page and is no different than someone just having really bad ideas about the layout of their content.
A racist stereotype of...a cat? In all the years Red Dwarf has been around, I have heard *not one* complaint from the cat community, yet you claim to have some greater insight?
You pay for the soap with your room fee; you can take it home with you. Now, if you take all the furniture and leave all the soap in a neat little pile on the bare floor...well, that's just hilarious.
Hey, I think I read about you on The Onion! I'd provide a link to the article, but the meme of providing the article link in response to posts like this got old a while ago.

Why don't you have a seat over there...
An iPod could easily have a news podcast on it.

I don't want to come off sounding like a troll, but are you that frail that the sight of an ad will bring you great mental stress?
There used to be a closed-end investment fund called Morgan Funshares that invested in alcohol, tobacco and firearms companies.

I used a wireless notebook in college to take notes. It was dirt cheap, lasted the entire day, and this was back in 1994-1998.

I get away just fine with Magnum Lambskin. They only look at the words and not the context it seems.

The Operating System of PC(tm)
Oh please. Death isn't the handicap it used to be. Lots of people have died and gone on to do great things!

hmmmm...this gives me an idea.
IS THIS REALITY?
(ok, you know what to do next!)

You don't have commercials on your cable system...no commercials at all?

The "t" is silent...

I am unanimous in that!

Having your beer cold is your first problem...what the hell is it hiding that requires the temperature to be turned down to numb?
