I grew up in hutchinson, and have visited the cosmosphere anytime I get the chance. It's hard to belive its in the middle of kansas. I'm sorry to hear this news, I hope the cosmosphere isn't affected.
Did anyone else hear the 867-5309 hacked voicemail w/2600 refrences about two weeks ago? The number went up for auction and the new owners left the voicemail password on default. On a related note, would putting a iffy domain up for auction insulate you from cybersquatting claims?
That is a great quote. It's one I have not heard before. It fits the situation nicely. More people need to see the possible long term effects. Quotes like that one are good for explaining the 'era' we are in.
this is a example of a facet of hacking more people need to be exposed to. the modular nature of modern electronics will make it easier in the future to add fuctionality where it wasn't imagened. sorry no spell check
too true. the chain is only as weak.. and things of that nature. I'm thinking that due to the fact that they are cheap, the X10 wireless cams are more or less modular. Would it be conceavble to intercept the video and quick encript it on its way to what I'm assuming is a standard RF transmitter module? sorry about the spelling, my treo 300 won't help me...
When i code, I really like to use wierd and obscure varible names. like for user input I use wtfdyw(what the fuck do you want) etc... I dont think that anyone will really worry 'bout source code anyway. I mean who besides us reads it anyway
I had a robie, and it was a real robot. It had a tape deck built in and you could record commands on it, and it would "play" them back. It sounds like the same idea to me, only more modern
