    Sometimes it's not even that. Beautiful Soup is the module for parsing HTML and XML files. However, beautifulsoup (bs) is the legacy version and beautifulsoup4 (bs4) is the version that everyone should be using. It's very easy to install the former when you need the latter.

    I was going to update my FeeNAS server today. I guess I shouldn’t have wasted so much time in the foums!

    I spent half the day in the forums to confirm switching from a single six-drive RAIDZ3 vdev to three two-drive mirror vdevs. Found this article that convinced me.

    Mine was in 1987. Sucks that we can't take time off while Indians get three+ weeks off to fly home. Yes, I understand the flights home are expensive and take a lot of time, but why should we pay dearly for that?

    An Indian coworker told me it took him 36 hours to fly from the U.S., land in India and drive to his remote village.

    I don't have Amazon native ads on my websites. I do have Amazon One Link enabled so that a British or Canadian reader who clicks on a US link will be taken to their country Amazon store. Slashdot has this feature enabled.

    The three executives who sold stock before the data breach became public knowledge are being investigated by the SEC for insider trading. Unless they can prove that this was a "routine" sale (I.e., consistently sold shares every quarter) and the timing was coincidental, they are facing my fines and/or prison sentences.

    Why don't you invest in mutual funds and utilities like a normal person?

    I do in my brokerage and retirement accounts. Precious metals should only represent 10% of your total assets.
