    One question that wasn't asked...
    Where was the kid heading?

Just out for a drive around the neighborhood, or did he have a destination?

Back in my school days, I remember researching a what would be considered a fatal dose of caffeine... I think it was 7400mg (about 37 Vivarin) was considered a fatal dose for the average person.

Sorry, but I don't recall what the source was on this.

This smells like a publicity stunt to me.
Come on, what 14 year old gamer wouldn't want the system that is too fast to be exported? This is great free advertising.

Keep in mind that apple still gets the majority

  5. Infospeed for business? on Feature: Getting DSL · · Score: 1

I was looking around the bell atlantic infospeed site, and they offer a "business" version of their service. It was difficult to tell what the real difference was, but it seems like the same thing, except you get a static IP. Am I missing something, or is this the solution I need?

    Heya

I use to live in Millersville (ourside of Lancaster) and currently live in Exton (near Valley Forge) and I know exactly what you mean. Bell Atlantic seems to be the only game in town, and we are at their mercy.

All I want is my DSL, a static IP address, and to be left alone with my servers!

  7. He makes a good point on Gingrich: No taxes on e-commerce, T1s for all · · Score: 4

The impression I got from this is that he wants the internet community to become more involved with politics at an earlier level.

To date, it seems that the internet community has been very reactive to laws, making protests at the late stages of laws being passed and such.

I believe that newt would like to push internet politics to the front, make it a platform issue that people would have to vote on, not something that people discover only after they have elected someone to office.

Also, any way you look at it, this is still a more intelligent comment than Al Gore "creating" the internet.

    Think of it this way...

Apple spent a lot of money to put this together,
so why shouldn't they recover these costs?

I mean, whats the point of innovating if it isn't
worthy your while in the end?

If all those hardware people are charging extra to add the "feature", why shouldn't apple get a piece of the action???
