I read the best argument against the crackpots here on slashdot a little while ago: You think the Soviets would have been monitoring the transmissions and would loved to let everyone know if they weren't coming from the moon.
Of course the crackpots would claim the soviets were in on it too. And do you think NASA would really fake something like Apollo 13?
I had the same problem getting the windows.net server release candidates.
Just look at where the form submits to and right your own basic form that will do the same thing, their site doesn't check referrer strings for submitting forms:)
In the spirt of Peter's Evil Overlord list: 65. If I must have computer systems with publically available terminals, the maps they display of my complex will have a room clearly marked as the Main Control Room. That room will be the Execution Chamber. The actual main control room will be marked as Sewage Overflow Containment.
Well apt is largely based on ports anyway. The source packages are basically identical. The big thing is that apt provides binary packages (and handles dependencies great)
GOV - This domain was originally intended for any kind of government office or agency. More recently a decision was taken to register only agencies of the US Federal government in this domain. State and local agencies are registered in the country domains (see US Domain, below).
Why does the handling of such disputes cost so much?
Obviously because it was designed to let corporations take domains away from the little guy and not the other way around. Yet another case of the rich get richer, the poor get poorer.
// Turn off domain guessing (which adds www. and.com) for link URLs // This means that if you type http://cnn/, Mozilla will not try // to go to http://www.cnn.com. For more details read bug 34943 // This will also fix the nasty bug where clicking in history folder // results in Mozilla going to www.apps5.oingo.com
user_pref("browser.fixup.alternate.enabled", false);
If you try to post a real comment first, it takes long enough that someone got in a "fp" type post instead.
