Honnestly it would be a really good thing for Linux.
If it was that way, I think that Dell, Compaq, HP, and others would sell more Linux-powered PCs (cheaper price), so people would buy more, and probably learn to like Linux as a "really good OS which will help working, playing, learning" --- better than the usual "black screen with command prompt designed by geeks for geeks":).
I have a Yamaha CDRW8424 SCSI CD-Burner and I always use Sony CDs. All other brands (including Traxdata CDs which are quite expensive !) randomly crash...For me, Sony CDs are more than 99% efficient.
I often burn CDs using my x8 Yamaha burner at home, but I also tested Sony CDs with a friend's x24 Plextor burner, and it worked really fine burning 50+ CDs in a row without any problem.
I've always been wondering what kind of stuff was inside my screen...Perhaps the fact of setting my win2k desktop to transparent would answer this question ?:)
Well, i don't think anybody can answer your question the way you want. In fact, the most important thing to know is the way this project has been built.
Using PHP classes or modular code can make tasks a lot easier and this way, one full time developper should be enough in my opinion. But if scripts are not structured, the project will need more than one developper, as there will be a lot of tasks to accomplish for each update or new functionnality implementation.
I'm french, I live in France, I pay my taxes in France, and I can tell you that French Government has a really bad policy about internet. Taxes Paying Portal exists, but many many many errors occured this year, and many many many people had to pay penalties, and some even paid their taxes twice !
Same thing about french government putting laws online, 6 months after they were voted.
Believe me, French Government is not online, and French Government is not internet-compliant:(
Big productivity low down all over the Linux world ! :)

WTF are they waiting for ?
...as I use Outlook Express ;)
:) try Outlook Express which is bundled with Internet Explorer for UNIX .
But IMHO this is a powerfull NNTP client, as it offers all I need to get, read, and post to a NNTP server.
And by the way, UNIX users may (I write this even if I'm sure they wont
