The more populare states DO get more attention. I am in Ohio and MAN should you see the attention. Just because we are leaning both ways and have a lot of electorial votes. Which we don't compare to Calf. or N.Y. of course.
The way it is done it does APPROXIMATE a populare vote. Why Approcimate? Make it honist and make it a populare vote.
Question, What two presidents in recient history have won by the electorial college but lost the populare vote?
Let me state clearly that I think beable to travel with no ID is a GOOD thing. Freedon is ALWAYS beter then the TINY risk of something happening.
But, this arguement:
This crash was very likely caused by a mechanical failure. How showing ID to board a plane prevents mechanical failures is left as an exercise to the reader.
Leaves me to try under stand the point. Nobody would realy think showing in ID would stop a mechanical error. There is no doubt that those who implimented the new ID rules, had one thought on their mind, terrorism.
Is this point designed to cause outrage in those you are trying to influence? It surely would do that. Instead I would suggest you state your oppion clearly and used evidence to back it up.
I would argue that freedoms, detailed in the bill of rights, insure our right to anonimity. That also these rights where felt to be for more important to risks to life.
I am sorry I must not have phrased the question well. I do understand using a fly by to increase Velocity, but this guy is going around the sun quite few times. Mercury is inside those orbits. I am assuming it is more of a case of placement rather then speed? Right?
If we took all the money for that human exploration, we would be able to send hundreds of probes. The time would be rather pointless then. Of course they will get better each time.
They need more POWER then solar to realy go places.
Sorry I didn't see that in the artical. For the record I have taken a few hours in a 152, but never an ultra-light. Though the airport I was at did have a pretty big club and they sure looked fun.
It is nice that the FAA is going to treat ultralights in a more formal way, but then I am not sure it is a good thing. Now I must have a licence to fly them, where as before you just hoped on one and Up, Up and Away.
Yup! I saw it to. If it is in the movies or on T.V. it must be true! Of course real harm is possible, but I havn't worked in such environments. I am sure it is happening somewhere.
I agree I have seen another documentory stating the same thing, maybe the same one. But then I am sure if a T-Rex could get it in its mouth it was going to eat it. Dead or alive or an unfortunate rock with blood on it.
I'm amazed that someone hasn't come up with the idea yet of making malloc() and free() stub-calls into a generic garbage-collected memory allocator and doing away with C memory management altogether.
My gawd, I have writen these kind of systems MANY times when do C and C++. I don't trust this guys skill at all, this is a COMMON work around. I have worked for 3 companies and they have had these kind of things in thier own libraries. Who is this guy?

No.
The electorial College should be removed from the constitution. It is just bad goverment.

Are you sure this isn't an X-Files script?
Ahhhh... Thank you all.

I am wonder why so many fly by's. I remeber before it was increase V, but is this being used to do a gentle park around Mercury?

I wonder if this is a good case. I sure would love to see another Supreme Court on the Patriot Act.
Oh yes, no of course this is not an act of Terror.
Of course it is acedemic, it is GOOG
Yuck, I agree. Maybe GOGL?
*sigh* I bet you are right, that is kind of cool. My dad bought an Aironca, for $500 in the fifties.
We need more money from congress and NASA needs to DUMP the shuttle.... What do we realy need? A:
Big Ass Rocket
Something that can lift 100 tons so we can build something cool to travel between the planets, with PEOPLE.

"Its thrillin' when we are Drillin'"
yes they do. So there.
English, and all languages are defined by those who use them.
I would like to think of my self as a radical element encouranging the growth of English.
Now if slashdot had a spell check.....
what is wrong with you people?
You did it again...
Have you considered seeing someone about your anger....
My Gawd! You are correcting other people to. At least its not like you hate me personally. Just in general?
So you are sick of it. Why do I have to hear about it? Isn't that realy your problem? Why do you think you can make it my problem?
Ego, Ego, Ego...
