    If you pump the breaks, you lose vac assist; could riding the breaks at less than full power cause the pads to glaze or heat so much you lose breaking power?

    Re: Baidu, It has less to do with "leaders in tune" and more to do with nationalism really.

    That google was able to establish the share they did in the face of being foreigners is astonishing indeed.

    As long as SF is a US company, it is beholden to US laws.

    It's surprising how many people here think that physical hosting location is relevant, compared to the location of the company; is that not the case elsewhere?

    The reality of the world is that picking up and moving a company overseas (from a US perspective at least) is not easy, nor cheap.

    This is wrong. The IPv6 has all the p2p content, which is not available on v4.

    Over the summer I believe was when I disabled it. My standard load of addons are: Noscript, Addblock Plus, Tree Style Tabs, and FireGestures.

    If there's one thing I've learned about firefox, it' that any memory issues it exhibits are highly website specific; it could just be the sites I'm going to interacting strange.y

    I found that when i was using noscript firefox's responsiveness plummeted and it often ballooned up to 600+ mb of space when tabs having javascript going (say, MSDN, gmail or slashdot) were left open. Disabling noscript immediately solved the issue.

    I'd love to go back to using it, but such behavior really isn't acceptable to me. Any ideas how to streamline it a bit? (OP or anyone else reading)

    I'm unsure of the passage he was referring to but it's entirely possible that the terminology was only used in a particular translation, or was errataed in that translation to a phrase deemed more suitable.
