If you pump the breaks, you lose vac assist; could riding the breaks at less than full power cause the pads to glaze or heat so much you lose breaking power?
As long as SF is a US company, it is beholden to US laws.
It's surprising how many people here think that physical hosting location is relevant, compared to the location of the company; is that not the case elsewhere?
Over the summer I believe was when I disabled it. My standard load of addons are: Noscript, Addblock Plus, Tree Style Tabs, and FireGestures.
If there's one thing I've learned about firefox, it' that any memory issues it exhibits are highly website specific; it could just be the sites I'm going to interacting strange.y
I found that when i was using noscript firefox's responsiveness plummeted and it often ballooned up to 600+ mb of space when tabs having javascript going (say, MSDN, gmail or slashdot) were left open. Disabling noscript immediately solved the issue.
I'd love to go back to using it, but such behavior really isn't acceptable to me. Any ideas how to streamline it a bit? (OP or anyone else reading)
Finally. After however many articles and hoewever many "zomg market share" posts, someone says what I was thinking. I figured I was just missing something.
I'm unsure of the passage he was referring to but it's entirely possible that the terminology was only used in a particular translation, or was errataed in that translation to a phrase deemed more suitable.

Re: Baidu, It has less to do with "leaders in tune" and more to do with nationalism really.
That google was able to establish the share they did in the face of being foreigners is astonishing indeed.
Don't forget: so they can get news they "agree with"
Which means spun the way they like it.
Kept up with that tthread when it was posted. Great reading.
I hope he had gotten finished with the process of bringing you into the world before he irradiated himself :P
Wish I coulda been there for that. I mean besides the awesome of seeing Opeth and AE.
Oh man, I've never gotten one of these before :D I feel somewhat more complete as a slashdotter.

The reality of the world is that picking up and moving a company overseas (from a US perspective at least) is not easy, nor cheap.
Mozilla Alloyed Tritanium Bar oughta be great then
This is wrong. The IPv6 has all the p2p content, which is not available on v4.
Somehow I suspect the list of this content might fit in the slashdot sig allowance
Yeah because there are all those other vital things they could have done first right? Give me a break.
I think you can actually do that all you want. You just can't give 2 grand to the candidate's opponent so he can do the same.

The real, honest answer for either OS is: It depends entirely on your hardware.
Considering the LFS user is most likely to have an attitude like yours, I'd prefer not to hear a single condescending word from him.
JUST Ewoks would be awesome imo.
