A selfish person isolated is ethical, because someone who serves themselves deserves no help from others. If they can't interact with others or our counttries resources then whatever the outcome for that individual at least they are finally honest. What they have came from them, with no access to help from others or our nation's resources, whatever they generate would be from the sweat of their own brow only and thus they would finally have legitimate claim to what they have.
