  1. Heck, even when people are taught all the good things, most of them shall ignore the teachings and do whatever the hell they want to do! That's humanity - free will et all!!!

As someone living in Pune, India I can confirm this sea of two-wheelers - scooters as well as motorcycles... Every week I see 2-3 deaths in local papers due to people needlessly dying due to not wearing helmet and other protective gear. Then there are college-kids who get high on speed. And then there are frustrated IT people rushing to punch in, industrial workers rushing for shifts, and the potholed, narrow roads! I myself prefer going 1-2km extra at times just because I hate riding in traffic!

We Indians are pretty tolerant people. We have been tolerating Pakistan for about 70yrs now. What's a few sparrows!! :J

  5. Here in India you will find a new lingo called Hinglish - where Hindi speaking people type hindi text in English. Maybe there should be Telg-lish too!!! p.s. E.g. "How are you?" in hinglish is "kya haal hai?". In unicode etc it will look like - ?. But the hinglish text works as well. So similar thing in Telugu will be "Enna kudu varudu" or something. (I'm not a Telugu speaker - google translate shows , which I of course cannot read :J)

    * Gaming is taken way too seriously today. In the good old LAN play days, we'd (my friends and I) all use cheats, custom maps and weapon hacks because we weren't trying to see who was the best, we were just fucking around and having fun.

    This!!!

Got a 4 yr old Lenovo with Pentium D 2.3GHz dual core cpu with 2GB RAM. Works fine for basic tasks. Of course if you use Chrome or Firefox, don't expect to have more than 10 tabs open. These guzzle memory like a V12 guzzles gas. I use Vivaldi generally which is lighter and faster. Gets me through those 20+ browser tabs sessions. With 5GB RAM it's way better!

The shitting in streets (by humans - nothing can be done about Cow Dung.. Holy mother cow and all...) problem is being taken care of by current government. Fake degrees can't be helped when the AICTE (education board) itself is approving bogus engineering colleges due to corruption. No initiative is a human trait - can't help there. The washing part is caused by lack of water - a byproduct of India's population. So "Not a Bug, Won't fix!" On a serious note, I have seen so many product teams full of talented guys totally mismanaged by the MBA's in charge, I think we can blame these MBA's in charge more than any Indian IT engineers.
