Because the entire man-on-moon thing was an utterly useless and needlessly dangerous enterprise, solely undertaken to boost some country's collective ego.
And, of course, to make a movie about it 25 years later
the calculation of interactions between many atoms or molecules.
So their going to use the interactions between many atoms and molecules (DNA) to calculate the interactions between many atoms or molecules? Sounds like writing a PS2 emulator for the PS2
Anyway, I'm not going to use this until it comes with a decent GUI and a.NET backend.
I can code in machine code and assembler. Will you kiss my ass now?
Machine code is straightforward but tiresome, boring and bug-prone. I wouldn't necessarily call everyone who knows the instruction opcodes by heart a coding genius.
By the way, that's GW-basic, later renamed to MS-Basic. Quick pop quiz: what does GW stand for?
So what happens if I send someone a random letter about little rabbits or whatever through certified mail, the recipient signs it, and I start claiming I sent something else, and try to prove it by showing the receipt?
Do these receipts include the actual content you sign for, or is it just your word against that of the sender what the actual content was (if any)?
Well, syndicate was kind of fucked up, with the stats at the end of the mission showing the number of civilian casualties, making it a game to kill every last civilian you meet.
Of course, leaving the country is also regarded as a method for circumvention of these protections. In fact, you telling people about this method here is probably a criminal offence.
Civ: I've been playing the windows version to death lately. High marks for best game ever, although it sucks that there's a max number of military units and cities you can have.
Plus, there's the quick settler cheat/bug.
KQ: I recently bought (yes by giving *MONEY* to some store clerck) KQ1-KQ6 for something like 5$. Money well spent.

Ah I love it.
Wolfenstein: Big WOW when I first saw that at a friend's. Never looked back to it after Doom though. I say Doom had a way better atmosphere to it.
TestDrive: aw sweeeeeet! Watch out for those potholes!
Yes, same old me...
I got as low as -17 or so, which is a score I'm very proud of.
Anyway, getting from -17 to 1 was a lot easier than I thought. Probably there are SOME moderators who read at -1 anyway.

Yes, and that's flamebait.
Typical, just typical.

I dedicate this first post to Zathruss, who won the first negativekarma now(tm) popquiz.
Congrats! Check back soon for another one.

Yeah just like when some news agency reported Al Qaeda had the blueprints for making atomic bombs.
Nah, I only persuaded them when I wanted to run them over with a car.
Well, syndicate was kind of fucked up, with the stats at the end of the mission showing the number of civilian casualties, making it a game to kill every last civilian you meet.
Or maybe that was just the way I played it...
Bisexual? What's wrong with looking at a woman and seeing she's bisexual? Every real woman is bisexual.
Oh, you're going to use those glasses to look at GUYS. Well, I can't help you then.
This is /.

I've never met a laptop owner who didn't carry a mouse
I'm a laptop owner, and I never carry a mouse. I do, however, have several dead pigeons and a small dog in my bag.
d00d that was insightful. What are you, 9?
Oh sorry, that was an ageist thing to say.

3) Reading more than 1 page from a screen sucks. Digital versions of books are only useful when you want to search for something in them.
I don't think it's a customer's obligation to check if the manufacturer didn't break any laws in producing the goods.
However, this would leave you with a bill for a product you never received. Who pays for that? What if you payed in advance?
