Yes - the adjudication was that the ad was not to appear in it's current form again - adding the disclaimer would likely be satisfactory for the ASA to allow it to be broadcast again.
There are a number of companies selling "unlimited" broadband in the UK, but the key point is that they put "fair usage policy applies" in the small print on all the adverts, otherwise they would be open legal action under the Trade Descriptions Act.
Customs and Immigration already have mobile fingerprint scanners they use here in the UK, and it works by being connected to a mobile phone which acts as a modem, though I'm not sure if it uses GSM or GPRS for the data connection.
Surely this isn't a fair or even comparison - they're comparing VMWare ESX which runs on bare-metal against Microsoft Virtual Server which runs on top of Windows (XP/2003) so obviously ESX has an advantage as it runs directly on the hardware.
If they compared VMWare GSX (now VMWare Server) against Microsoft Virtual Server it'd be a much fairer comparison.
We're looking at moving to Virtual Servers at work and at present Microsoft Virtual Server is winning because from the tests we've performed comparing it in terms of performance and ease-of-use against VMWare Server there's no difference, and we're a Microsoft shop so we're going to stick with what we know.
Yeah - I used to work as a delivery driver for just the company you're talking about - the way they treated us was excellent... never had a complaint about how we were treated, plus the "staff shop" was a god-send - Waitrose brand products for 75% off retail price at least!
I work in the UK and we just got our Q3 bonus. How it works at our company (Business ISP) is as follows:
Our bonus is based on 20% of our annual salary, or 5% of our annual salary every quarter
Based on how well we do, we get a percentage of the bonus - for example this quarter our division is getting an 80% bonus - so in effect 80% of 5% of our salary - depending on how well we do the bonus % changes - one country did really well adn is getting a 125% bonus!!!
Makes it fair to be tied into salary, and also into business performance!
Well if like some of us you're using IE, you can get a Google Toolbar from google.com, which lets you type in a search term, then do I'm Feeling Lucky, Search The Web - it even shows page ranks when you browse and categories of matching pages if the page you're on is in a category
I noticed the Combat Jack was never brought up in the film, but your facts about the Combat Jack in the book are a bit skewed... it was in a pause in the fighting that two of the rangers talked about it, but they never actually "did the deed"

In the article it says that at each Starbucks for it to count they have to give him a free half cup of coffee ... so just gas and time expense
