When will you nreds ever let Star Wars go?
It is over. OK. Ovber. Forget about it. Move on. It was great the day it came out, but it has not aged well at all, and for some, it even seems dumb now.
Thank you.
This story make me chuckle a tiny bit, in so far as it is certainly true, but also, for me, this is every day of my life, plus the pilgrimiges home, now that everyone knows I ahve access to their desktop via RealVNC. It is a fantastic application.
www.realvnc.com
If you use it, I admonish you to donate a couple bucks, not much, just a couple bucks, which is nothing, nothing compared to the drive to Iowa or wherever your old narrow-minded uber-conservative parents & relatives are from (like mine).
Cheers.
Peace.
"Bush's "war as energy polic" will doom us & our world. NASCAR fans, you have bloood your hands. WalMary shoppers, you have blood on your hands. Grand Cherokee drivers, you have blood on your hands. Sleep with that. Look yourself in he face in the mirror, look your kids in the face, and think. For once, think. Do you really think your tiny part of the whole does not add up. Every one else can change, but you can keep doing the same comfy but lazy thing. Wake up! You are killing yourself. You are suicidal, is you want to look at it from that perspective. That makes you irrational, and not fit to vote. Do not vote, for dog's sake, do not vote.
Commit suicide quickly, alone in the woods, dont bring down the planet with you, slowly, miserably, pathetically, stupidly.
"War as energy policy" is a wetdream for some people. My guess is that those are the same people who think NASCAR is fun to watch.
People need to be turned in to soilant green to fuel the trucks that deliver organic groceries to progressive people.
You are incorrect.
Many many many people are recognizing now that 1027+ people are dead (so far)(and counting by 10+ per day) in our perpetual "war as energy policy" that it is now time to think differently. We are dooming ourselves. In so many ways. Not just pollution, not just prices, not just cost to our economy from kids who cant work because they cant learn because they have asthama, etc.
I see a lot of Prius out there. And Civics. And now there are minivan hybrids coming. Here is Portland, which is very progressive, some like to think enlightened, there are a lot of biodiesel rigs out there. Uummmm, french fries.
These are all just a start.
I hope this comes to your area soon.
That sentence is a perfect description of the writing. It is grammatically correct, spelled correctly, correctly punctuated, and expresses the thought well. What are you looking for?
I see a kernel of truth in this. It is often difficult to do the correct thing for the long-term, inside of a short-term structured society. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
It is fantastic that a guy with "soldier" in his handle is the one ot make this comment.
It seems quite obvious to a lot of people these days that when you look around, there are those who want to make a better future, be more conservative in their use of resources, just be smart where ever possible.
Then there is a groupd of people who do not think it is important or think that we can do what ever we please for ever without consequence or think that we ought to bomb sand when ever we need more oil or think that eternal war is a dream come true.
Your remark is harmful, to me, to my family, to yourself, & I resent it.
I wish that you will slowly but surely over the next few years come to change your mind & buy a hybrid car & carpool & turn down the heat & wean this country off of perpetual war as its energy plan.
Cheney is the most evil person on the planet & we all need to do exactly the opposite as he does.
Your complain about the electoral college is one that needs serious consideration & reflection & that needs to be considered in how to improve this form of government. You are, however, overlooking something else very significant, perhaps more significant, in some cases, than the election for the executive branch, and that is the legislative branch. Specifically the house. The house has many many powers that the senate does not have. You need to vote in these races. You must.
Next, we need a heaping helping more states to pick this up. This travesty is inconceivable. I mean, c'mon, really, this is disgusting. I wonder if a democrat would do this? So far, there is only history of republicans doing this, which isnt to say that there arent some loons in the DNC but just that it hasnt happened yet. So, hey, GOP, congrat's.
Exception: buffer overflows. We all have known hwo to prevent them for quite some time but studies show that software conintues to be created every day with this same problem. We all suspect that the simple buffer overflow vulnerability that gets so much press lately will continue to for years to come.
Something needs to be done where code is run through a mill after the art of writing it has been done.

Here is hoping we all have one of these ASAP before the world bursts in to flames!
Agreed!
The entire country ought to be ashamed these evil bastards are allowed to do what they do. I am.
Can you imagine for just one second what the world would be like with this corporation. Now I do not want to come off as some loon who thinks that we will all go back to the days of throwing stones at each other, but, really, take two seconds, and stop, and think, what if this company was not arming all of our enemies, all from an offshore tax-fre account, while the taxpayer pays for the raods, court system, electrical grid, hospitals, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, for them to operate on top off.
Au contraire... please see Netcraft's recent results, major companies, with some of the best uptimes on the planet, are not only using it, but more and more so all the time. What with Apple helping out, it is going no where but forward.
NEver understood why being a christian meant being tragically narrow minded. I am not trying to be inflamatory. I read your sincere comment. I hear you. But, really, are you serious, your religion is so fragile it cant handle an icon, a cartoon one at that. You need a new religion. If your friends & family ostracize you for using a superior piece of software because of a cartoon, you need new friends. These are just the comments of one humble reader. Live your life as a good honest person with integrity and ignore the rest, there is not time to waste on it. Good luck.

I agree.
This scares me stiff.
I trust that people's inner clock/inner pendulum can detect this stuff and avert before actual doom, but I'm not quite as sure about that as I used to be. This election, not to over-reach, might be an interesting test of my theory about that.
Gees, I hope my daugthers arent mind-controlled robot billboards.

If think this is kewl, check-out MisterHouse, which can do this & so much more you'll be stunned.
Anything taking it to this jack-booted treasonous near-nazi administration gets my ass in the seat.
except when you capture net traffic, including a poor hash, go break that hash, then bring your answer back to whatever youre auth'ing against.

It is grammatically correct. (their name refers to just the one company, a singular item)

I cant wait to get this going in-house & have both the geeks (Ximian on FreeBSD) & everyone else (Outlook) using same db. Wow.
what the hell are you talking about?
