That is one awesomely powerfully written review, whether it is accurate is irrrelevant, that is a fine example of powerful writing. Thanks for linking it for us & our enjoyment.

If the FCC continues down its current path of being an obvious puppet and abusivly slapping American citizens in the face about it, essentilly saying, "oh yeah, stupid FOX News/NASCAR/Cops fans, what you going to do about it", then I would say, yes, shut it down & let us deal with these issues another way. I do not know how the FCC came to be, but I am certain there was a perfectly legitimate reason & way it did, but it is so hard to see how damn near any of this agencies & others similar to it are doing any good. I'd say their new motto is "do no further harm". And, that is damning. If they were capable of actually doing good, I'd fall off my chair. Man has an unlimited capacity for greed, fear, corruption, and if you are one of the ones most likely tempted, then head to Washington. Scum.

I think it is not that people do not understand the right to bear arms, I think that they understand that that was a differnet era, a diffrent world, they were not talking about machine guns, they were not dealing with a death rate many many multiples higher than any other country in the world, etc, etc, etc, etc when that was written. I think people are only asking, hey, look, we all need to interpret the writing, let us interpret it for today where we can have a balance. As is the NRA is far too powerful. Corporations, not just manufacturers in the blood sports industry, but all corporations are far too powerful. And, last, I (and here is where I will chime in personally with my own opinion) do give a rat's ass about anything other than the fact that what we have right now, is not working, it is borken, it needs changing, there are simply far far too many dead people from guns in this country, that is all there is to it. Who would not want to sit down and discuss how to fix that. There are simply too many dead poeple in this country. Period. Why? Let's find out why?

Many many people do not understand how the government can tax a TV set, and I can admit I am somtimes in that crowd, but let us alos recognize that the Beeb is perhaps the most important source of news, regardless of how they get it to you, and more ways is better, that exists on this insane mudball today. I hope that whatever the Beeb does is a huge success. It has to be. Or the sky will fall & crush us all to death. Taht I am not kidding about......Bush just thanked Rumsfeld for torturing people. Up is down & down is up. And Amerikans are mostly OK with this.
