I watched the election results all night and into this morning. There are some very important issues to share.
One is the surprise expressed by the pundits wherein they acknowledge that the massive voter drives were propelled by discontent. So how did the most hated occupant of the White House manage to exceed his 45% poll average to now claim he has a huge "popular" win.
We are told that 22% voted on "morality" and that Bush took 80% of that 22%, and that is how he won. However, that leaves 78% who were focused on Kerry issues. Why aren,t we told the percentages of the 78%???
The second surprise for the media was that the results didn,t match the exit polls AT ALL. The media has gracefully claimed they "just got it wrong." You remember we didn,t have exit pollsters in 2002. It saved any disagreement with THAT Republican "sweep." In fact, the pollsters have always been 100% accurate, with just 1 to 2% polling data, in legitimate elections. Bush took the Texas governorship from Ann Richards when she had a 70% approval rating. Is it magic?
My "I TOLD YOU SO" is that I have SCREAMED since 2000 that if we don,t get rid of touch-screen "voting" computers, NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING else will matter.
So, here are the numbers (so far): 112,596,922 voters counted in the presidential race. Bush has been consistently polling at 45%, which SHOULD have given him 50,668,614 votes, instead of 58,073,612. This translates into 7,404,998 votes being siphoned off from Kerry votes. Now, how does that magic work???
Taxpayers get hit with a bill for $3600 (or more) for EACH of the touch-screen "voting" computers, which are nothing more than dedicated COUNTERS except that they are marketed by Republicans (who vowed to ensure Bush,s victory); and the American people have not been allowed to examine or certify the software in these units.
Here is how easy it is to "make magic"

This extremely simple bit of programming would shift 12% of the vote from Kerry to Bush, it would defy exit polls, and it would make it look like Bush had a huge popular win. It is time that the software in these SECRET Republican-owned computers be examined with a deliberate check for instructions that could modify the vote tally.
Al-Qaeda has previously regarded the American people as victims of a crooked election in 2000. Now they regard Americans as responsible for letting this man -- who is regarded as the worst terrorist on the planet continue his tyrannous regime. I doubt that the rest of the world will accept four more years of his lies and looting.
"One thing that is very strange is how much the exit polls differed from the final results, especially in Ohio. Remember that Ohio uses Diebold voting machines in many areas. These machines have no paper trail. Early in the campaign, Diebold CEO Walden O'Dell, a GOP fundraiser, promised to deliver Ohio to Bush. He later regretted having said that."
SoCalDem has done a statistical analysis......on several swing states, and EVERY STATE that has EVoting but no paper trails has an unexplained advantage for Bush of around +5% when comparing exit polls to actual results.
In EVERY STATE that has paper audit trails on their EVoting, the exit poll results match the actual results reported within the margin of error.

"As we head into the most divisive election in history, the lesson must be clear: economic distress breeds extremism. Democrat Hillary Clinton, running on a program of nationalization of the oil industry and establishment of a state-funded National Health Service, faces off against Republican Newt Gingrich, on a platform of privatization of social security and abolition of the departments of Education, Labor, Energy and State. Four years ago, such a confrontation would have seemed unimaginable, but economic difficulties have polarized American politics.
"The main difficulty facing the new administration will be the federal budget deficit, scheduled to hit $947 billion in the year to September 2009, around 7.5 percent of gross domestic product. With the long term Treasury bond rate at 8.7 percent, funding this deficit has become difficult even though consumer price inflation over 7 percent makes the interest rate relatively low in real terms. Blame for the deficit depends on where you're standing; conservatives blame an increase in Federal spending from 20 percent of GDP to 25 percent, while liberals point out that the spending increase was largely due to the prolonged 2005-2007 recession, and has been funded by only moderate increases in taxes.
"As a result, two different strategies have appeared to deal with the problem. Clinton wants to increase the size of government, so that the American public gets real benefits for the high taxes it pays, while Gingrich wants to cut back government fundamentally. MS Janani, 22, a computer science graduate, is sitting next to her telephone waiting for that special call. No, it is not from her boyfriend but from a US-based multinational IT firm for a telephonic interview.
Ms Janani's fate is not rare. She is one of the thousands of computer science and engineering graduates who are unemployed. A lot of them are from tier two and three engineering colleges with specialisation in computer science or electrical and electronics engineering - EEE in short.
Recently, Ms Janani applied for a job in Infosys Technologies. To her shock, she found was competing with over six lakh applicants. She tried her luck with Polaris Software. It was no better. Her application number was 78,000 plus.
Frustrated, Janani started dropping her resume with all the recruitment firms. From hopes of working with firms like Infosys or Wipro four years ago, when she entered college, Janani today is willing to take any IT job coming her way.
Today, getting an IT job has become tough even as a large number of engineering and computer science graduates pass out every year across the country.
Infosys Technologies received 6.30 lakh resumes during 2002-03 for various posts. The number is almost equal to that of the entire software professionals employed in India. The company made about 6,200 offers.
For an entry-level post, Polaris received 1.60 lakh applications for 500 positions. For a recent half-page advertisement calling for generic skills, Cognizant Technology received over 18,000 applications. Small and medium-size IT firms are also receiving a large number of resumes.
Says Infosys spokesperson, the challenge for companies lie in distilling the best application. Today candidates have more choices, and recruitment is on an upswing. Organisations are willing to look at differential compensation package even as specialised technical skills are in higher demand.
According to Mr R. Chandrasekaran, Senior Vice-President, Cognizant, for any generic technical skill such as Java or Mainframe, the company gets over 450 resumes, and for any senior-level position or niche skills over 100 resumes for a single post. This number excludes unsolicited resumes dropped through Cognizant's Web site and boxes.
Of the total applications the "must hire" category is about 5 per cent, followed by "can be hired" 8 per cent. Cognizant recruits 60 per cent of its employees from engineering and management campuses and the remaining 40 per cent from open market. Of the 40 per cent, 65 per cent are from global consulting and technology companies and leading Indian software companies, and the remaining 35 per cent are from niche software companies. Cognizant recruited about 2,400 professionals last year, of which about 1,200 were from the open market, he said.
The recruitment firms too are flooded with resumes for IT jobs. Says Ms Saundarya Rajesh, CEO of the Chennai-based Avtar Career Creators, a human resources consulting and recruitment firm, a recent advertisement attracted over 5,000 resumes from software testing engineers for 25 posts. Even for unknown IT companies, the response is in a few thousands, she says.
Separating wheat from chaff
To cope with the large number of applications, IT companies follow different screening and evaluation process.
At Cognizant, for every 100 resumes received, at the first pre-screening level - to call candidates for interview is short-listed - 77 applications are rejected. In the next level of interviews to offer, 45 per cent of the short-listed applications are rejected, making it a net rejection rate of 87 per cent. That is, for every 100 applications received, there are only 13 candidates recruited into Cognizant. While Infosys recruited one in every 100 applicants, Cognizant's was 1.5 persons for 100 resumes received, Mr Chandrasekaran said.

How The Election Was Stolen

I watched the election results all night and into this morning. There are some very important issues to share.
One is the surprise expressed by the pundits wherein they acknowledge that the massive voter drives were propelled by discontent. So how did the most hated occupant of the White House manage to exceed his 45% poll average to now claim he has a huge "popular" win.
We are told that 22% voted on "morality" and that Bush took 80% of that 22%, and that is how he won. However, that leaves 78% who were focused on Kerry issues. Why aren,t we told the percentages of the 78%???
The second surprise for the media was that the results didn,t match the exit polls AT ALL. The media has gracefully claimed they "just got it wrong." You remember we didn,t have exit pollsters in 2002. It saved any disagreement with THAT Republican "sweep." In fact, the pollsters have always been 100% accurate, with just 1 to 2% polling data, in legitimate elections. Bush took the Texas governorship from Ann Richards when she had a 70% approval rating. Is it magic?
My "I TOLD YOU SO" is that I have SCREAMED since 2000 that if we don,t get rid of touch-screen "voting" computers, NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING else will matter.
So, here are the numbers (so far): 112,596,922 voters counted in the presidential race. Bush has been consistently polling at 45%, which SHOULD have given him 50,668,614 votes, instead of 58,073,612. This translates into 7,404,998 votes being siphoned off from Kerry votes. Now, how does that magic work???
Taxpayers get hit with a bill for $3600 (or more) for EACH of the touch-screen "voting" computers, which are nothing more than dedicated COUNTERS except that they are marketed by Republicans (who vowed to ensure Bush,s victory); and the American people have not been allowed to examine or certify the software in these units.
Here is how easy it is to "make magic"
-- we need COUNTERS - (B) = Bush; (K) = Kerry; (V) = Vote; (T) = Tally
1. If V = B, add 1 to B
2. If T = 8, add 1 to B; Clear T; Skip 3
3. If V = K, add 1 to K; Add 1 to T
This extremely simple bit of programming would shift 12% of the vote from Kerry to Bush, it would defy exit polls, and it would make it look like Bush had a huge popular win. It is time that the software in these SECRET Republican-owned computers be examined with a deliberate check for instructions that could modify the vote tally.
Al-Qaeda has previously regarded the American people as victims of a crooked election in 2000. Now they regard Americans as responsible for letting this man -- who is regarded as the worst terrorist on the planet continue his tyrannous regime. I doubt that the rest of the world will accept four more years of his lies and looting.

"One thing that is very strange is how much the exit polls differed from the final results, especially in Ohio. Remember that Ohio uses Diebold voting machines in many areas. These machines have no paper trail. Early in the campaign, Diebold CEO Walden O'Dell, a GOP fundraiser, promised to deliver Ohio to Bush. He later regretted having said that."
SoCalDem has done a statistical analysis... ...on several swing states, and EVERY STATE that has EVoting but no paper trails has an unexplained advantage for Bush of around +5% when comparing exit polls to actual results.
In EVERY STATE that has paper audit trails on their EVoting, the exit poll results match the actual results reported within the margin of error.
So, we have MATCHING RESULTS for exit polls vs. voting with audits
vs.
A 5% unexplained advantage for Bush without audits.
Maybe Dubayah believes God will see him through this, but it's going to take more than blind faith to pull the wool over the data and the facts.

"As we head into the most divisive election in history, the lesson must be clear: economic distress breeds extremism. Democrat Hillary Clinton, running on a program of nationalization of the oil industry and establishment of a state-funded National Health Service, faces off against Republican Newt Gingrich, on a platform of privatization of social security and abolition of the departments of Education, Labor, Energy and State. Four years ago, such a confrontation would have seemed unimaginable, but economic difficulties have polarized American politics.
"The main difficulty facing the new administration will be the federal budget deficit, scheduled to hit $947 billion in the year to September 2009, around 7.5 percent of gross domestic product. With the long term Treasury bond rate at 8.7 percent, funding this deficit has become difficult even though consumer price inflation over 7 percent makes the interest rate relatively low in real terms. Blame for the deficit depends on where you're standing; conservatives blame an increase in Federal spending from 20 percent of GDP to 25 percent, while liberals point out that the spending increase was largely due to the prolonged 2005-2007 recession, and has been funded by only moderate increases in taxes.
"As a result, two different strategies have appeared to deal with the problem. Clinton wants to increase the size of government, so that the American public gets real benefits for the high taxes it pays, while Gingrich wants to cut back government fundamentally. He would roll back President George W. Bush's education funding increases of 2001, abolish the Education Department, as he promised in his 1994 "Contract with America," and also close the State Department, held by Democrats to be an essential operation of government but denounced by conservatives as an unnecessary boondoggle that pays out American money to foreigners.

MS Janani, 22, a computer science graduate, is sitting next to her telephone waiting for that special call. No, it is not from her boyfriend but from a US-based multinational IT firm for a telephonic interview. Ms Janani's fate is not rare. She is one of the thousands of computer science and engineering graduates who are unemployed. A lot of them are from tier two and three engineering colleges with specialisation in computer science or electrical and electronics engineering - EEE in short. Recently, Ms Janani applied for a job in Infosys Technologies. To her shock, she found was competing with over six lakh applicants. She tried her luck with Polaris Software. It was no better. Her application number was 78,000 plus. Frustrated, Janani started dropping her resume with all the recruitment firms. From hopes of working with firms like Infosys or Wipro four years ago, when she entered college, Janani today is willing to take any IT job coming her way. Today, getting an IT job has become tough even as a large number of engineering and computer science graduates pass out every year across the country. Infosys Technologies received 6.30 lakh resumes during 2002-03 for various posts. The number is almost equal to that of the entire software professionals employed in India. The company made about 6,200 offers. For an entry-level post, Polaris received 1.60 lakh applications for 500 positions. For a recent half-page advertisement calling for generic skills, Cognizant Technology received over 18,000 applications. Small and medium-size IT firms are also receiving a large number of resumes. Says Infosys spokesperson, the challenge for companies lie in distilling the best application. Today candidates have more choices, and recruitment is on an upswing. Organisations are willing to look at differential compensation package even as specialised technical skills are in higher demand. According to Mr R. Chandrasekaran, Senior Vice-President, Cognizant, for any generic technical skill such as Java or Mainframe, the company gets over 450 resumes, and for any senior-level position or niche skills over 100 resumes for a single post. This number excludes unsolicited resumes dropped through Cognizant's Web site and boxes. Of the total applications the "must hire" category is about 5 per cent, followed by "can be hired" 8 per cent. Cognizant recruits 60 per cent of its employees from engineering and management campuses and the remaining 40 per cent from open market. Of the 40 per cent, 65 per cent are from global consulting and technology companies and leading Indian software companies, and the remaining 35 per cent are from niche software companies. Cognizant recruited about 2,400 professionals last year, of which about 1,200 were from the open market, he said. The recruitment firms too are flooded with resumes for IT jobs. Says Ms Saundarya Rajesh, CEO of the Chennai-based Avtar Career Creators, a human resources consulting and recruitment firm, a recent advertisement attracted over 5,000 resumes from software testing engineers for 25 posts. Even for unknown IT companies, the response is in a few thousands, she says. Separating wheat from chaff To cope with the large number of applications, IT companies follow different screening and evaluation process. At Cognizant, for every 100 resumes received, at the first pre-screening level - to call candidates for interview is short-listed - 77 applications are rejected. In the next level of interviews to offer, 45 per cent of the short-listed applications are rejected, making it a net rejection rate of 87 per cent. That is, for every 100 applications received, there are only 13 candidates recruited into Cognizant. While Infosys recruited one in every 100 applicants, Cognizant's was 1.5 persons for 100 resumes received, Mr Chandrasekaran said. Says Mr R. Even their newest 120gig HD still have reliability problems. Mine ended up with bad sectors in one month of less than 8 hours a day usage. They need to be sued for selling defective product designs.
Economics is the key. When you are limited by the amount of money you have, you can't do any research. And yet money is just a piece of paper now, and yet it'll still lead us to the next depression. Looks like we still haven't learned anything this past 2000 years. (Most Greek scientists are either rich themselves or are supported by the rich...)
US Companies shall soon lose the entire China market, then the rest of the world. How ironic.
The sun has set on our economic system that is based on debt. It's all downhill from here. There will be no recovery until the system is redesigned.
TSMC is starting risk production of .09 micron process later this year. With mass production, in Feb 2003. They are planing .063 micron in 2003.
Both TSMC and UMC's fabs are automated.
The reason is because money is created through debt. Which means all money is just unpaid debt which carries an interest rate. In order to pay for it, you need inflation+ growth or the whole pyrimid collapses.
The Stock market now has the same valuation as the Stock market TOP at 1929. The crash hasn't come yet. But it will, debt liquidation is inevitable.
They will give back your rights. Vote for them in every election, before it is too late.
Only under a flawed economic system will you fail because the technology is too successful. The problem is not of over investment. But one of the economic system that we are under.
