    Perhaps we should correct this blatant, failed attempt at trolling.

    The code you write is YOURS. The EULA of the compiler and provided libraries doesn't even TRY to control your licensing scheme.

    In fact, the GPL isn't even mentioned in the EULA for MS Visual Studio 6.

    The only thing you're prevented from doing is giving away the provided libraries, header files, or source code that come with the compiler and tools.

    Don't get me wrong, MSFT sucks big floppy donkey dick, but FUD in either direction helps none of us.

    The nifty thing is that it supports USB mass-storage profile. MP3/Ogg/Wma (yeah right) can be copied on AND OFF.

    Works on the iPod Mini, too, as long as you don't use the apple software. [google for 'ephpod']

    Whats more, being a standard compliant device it works fine with Linux. You can just mount it as a filesystem.

    iPod Mini, too. ;) Just enable it to be used as a disk via iTunes, and viola. ;)

    By your logic, we shouldn't support open source because M$/etc argue that it helps terrorism...

    Don't devote your life to the practice of programming, devote it to understanding why certain things work better, and how to further refine our techniques of computation. Work on understanding the hardwaresoftware interface, and you open up all kinds of new fields, from embedded engineering, to robotics.
