Dipshit I was comparing Windows to LINUX not UNIX. Linux was out in 1991. Windows was out in 1983. Thus Windows is older. LIKE A SAID.

No shit unix is older than Windows. The linux kernal was written in '91, as I recall Windows was around then.
I'm stuck in 2nd Year IT. From what I heard it was entirely a marketing thing. John Hynd was pissed++ :-)

Linux? is that some new fangled hippie programming tool? does it run on windows?
While I'm currently a Debian linux user, I've been contemplating moving to BSD. The choice I have to make was between Free or OpenBSD. With Theo throwing tantrums and removing software I'd planned on using, it seems I'll be installing FreeBSD.
