well you pay for cable TV right? No tangible product.. AND you have to have a TV.
This wont work becuase you have to have broadband to use it really.. and $10 a month on top of 50 a month for broadband isn't worth it as long as there is still systems like Kazaa
I know this will get some flames, but, maybe God is indiscriminate? What is the difference between silicon and carbon based "evolution"? Maybe what ever force drives nature is also driving these chips? Who is to say, but I will say that I'm blown away!
Well once you install Ximian Gnome it overwrites your old Gnome, but when you install Gnome it DOESN'T overwrite Ximian Gnome. There is no way to remove Ximian Gnome without screwing up all kinds of dependancies. If you don't believe me, go to ximian.com and search for a way to remove Ximian Gnome.
If you develop using standards and good coding, you can develop for Mozilla AND IE and it will look the same!
Stop using FrontPage and Dreamweaver et al, and there aren't any problems. Use XHTML/CSS and you can make great pages that look 99% the same in Mozilla and IE.:)
No, you see, Bush is against the rail. To go through "normal" proceedure, Bush would have to sign on to the project. Instead of a "normal" proceedure, the corporations (Disney, Universal, Sea World etc) got a petition started and got the measure onto the ballot. What was on the ballot was a constitutional ammendment, so Bush doesn't have to sign onto it. Then all they had to do was convince the dumb masses that it would some how benefit them.
The truth is, if you look at WHERE this train will run, it won't help our traffic problems on I4 at all. All it will do is shuttle tourists from place to place. It goes right by I-DRIVE (where all the attractions are) and *gasp* right down to Tampa right by *gasp again* Bush Gardens. hmmm.. again.. how does this help the common people who will foot the bill??? Our economy already gets a lot of money from tourists, how much more will we get by putting in this train? Will we recoup our investment?
Well I live in FL and trust me, it's not the citizens that are pushing for a highspeed rail system! It's the congressmen and the Disney folks. They want to run a rail for "us", yet it would only really serve to get tourists to and from hotels and attractions.
As well as stopping pop-ups and other annoying 'features' such as browser window resizing.
Mozilla is my main browser... of course I run Linux now so..;)
So what you're saying is that if any one from a nasty country with sub-standard living conditions can make it to the USA that they should be allowed to stay? Wow that is bright!
We have to protect the USA. The only way we can do that is by placing restrictions on immigration. Hey, if you want to come to the USA from a 3rd world country, go for it. But follow our laws and rules! We cannot handle the influx of immigrants that would come if we just said "ok, if your country sucks, you can come here and stay without any paperwork... just show up". And then it comes down to who decides what is "deploreable conditions". As Americans, we tend to think that not having 3 meals a day and not having McDonalds and BurgerKing is deplorable. Who sets the standard?
Well you basically pointed out exactly WHY a lot of people hate the ACLU.
Protecting HATIANS? Hello, it's the AMERICAN civil liberties union.
I am all for immigration.. LEGAL immigration.. not illegal immigration.
The ACLU also are race warlords. They like to group people into race/sex/sexual prefrence etc. instead of treating people as individuals.
I could go on, but it's time for lunch:)
Quick way to fix that flashing 12:00...
Get a ruler
Some black electrical tape
and some scissors.
Step 1: Measure the length of the flashing 12:00 on the VCR
Step 2: Measure out black electrical tape to the same length of the 12:00
Step 3: Cut tape.
Step 4: Stick tape over flashing 12:00
Problem solved for good;)
*note, you can also just cut the tape with your teeth.. but that's your risk
I like these filtering products.. they are GREAT for telling you WHERE all of the good stuff is.. I love looking through the sites that they block.. they are always the best sites..
FREE pr0n;)
WaReZ, they got it all!
I shop at Tiger Direct a lot. Just got my Casio PV-400plus second day air. I've never had a problem with them and they have GREAT prices.
Another rout is to go buy a barebones system at your local computer shop and then go to Best Buy and get a HD and the other stuff you want.
Well i'm not sure how raising prices and charging per Gbit a month will help the RIAA. I pay $50 a month for my cable ISP. If I download say 25 albums and they charge me what 20-30 dollars more a month for that usage.. I STILl am ahead! An album costs $17.99 or so on average. If I pay 25 bucks and get 25 albums, WHY would I go BACK to the record store? I am still getting a hell of a deal right?
No what i'm saying is that if the gov't WANTED TO, they could use deadly force to accomplish their goals.
Don't believe me? Look at WACO, look at Ruby Ridge, look at the Kent State Massacre.
NO COMPANY can LEGALLY use deadly force to accomplish their goals.. ONLY GOVERNMENTS CAN!
Actually the difference is that the US Gov't can and will use deadly force to accomplish their goals. No private corporation can do that. The gov't also doesn't have to tell you any thing.
"This same institute backed destabilizing, unworkable '80s missile defense and thinks Alexis de Tocqueville would have wanted the V-22 Osprey deathplane."
Nice to see no politics being spouted here.
And the question is.. what gov't would do this? Not every thing is developed in the USA. So if you develop a new format in India, how can any one forcibly put it into public domain?
Exactly. This isn't just about porno pics. What if the provider decided that they didn't like Libertarians and they blocked lp.org? They are censoring things that "they" deem inappropriate. Who are they to decide for the rest of us?
But what happens when native animals get the caffeine? So the frogs die, but what about the birds? This can explain that bird on the beer commercials who keeps attacking people at a resturaunt and taking their beer and bringing it back to its owner.
it some how all makes sense now;)

I'll compete with you and sell a cheaper version.. it will be dehydrated and so less packageing. :) Just add water ;)

Unless you ever want straight up Gnome again. Then, good luck removing Ximian Gnome! ;) Although Ximian Gnome was really slick!
Thank god that the first ammendment only gaurantees the right to speak, not the right to be heard!

Well think about it. Some say "Life is the best teacher". What better than a real life hollo-deck to learn life lessons from?

Yeah but only two parties to choose from (In the minds of most americans) and a vote for one is the same as a vote for the other.

Or God was created at the birth of the first human.
