A couple of guys outside the door and they think they have it covered. "They dont't need to; they have the powers of the force." * In Episode 2, the Jedi find out that someone has ordered a clone army. But the people who built the clone army think the Jedi ordered it. The obvious move would have been to just take delivery - have the army shipped over to some Republic base. Or call HQ (which they demonstrably can do) and have final payment and transport sent over. But no, they have to do something stupid and heroic. "They did take delivery" * When they have a ground battle, the tactics are out of Napoleon's era. That only worked when rates of fire were really low. Yet everybody is blasting away on full auto all the time. "It's a movie for Christ's sak"

I can't believe that anyone would even mod this post. It's abhorrent that someone would equate the actual deaths in a real terrorist attack to that of a fictional movie. I'm sure the original author of the 'The Princess Bride' had bin Laden in mind when he wrote a classic. I know you were trying to funny but as a person who lost a friend in the WTC bombing I find your post offensive; not just to me but also the memory of a victim.

Please don't speak for everyone and certainly don't speak for me. Have we, as a society, actually 'progressed' to the point where we blame Hollywood for all the world's ills? The leaders of Grenada, Nicaragua, Panama and certainly not Iraq, were NOT the defininitions of a 'benevolent legal order' pattern of thought. Why do certain people ALWAYS insist that an innocent science fiction movie, based on the old 'save the princess' premise, be the cause of all world conflict? I'm not ashamed of George and the entertainment he's provided to me. JMHO.

I believe, more to the point, that the IOC wants to see fairness. They want to see 'unenhanced' individuals competing on their abilities and not their country's financial status to expend resources on drugs to improve performance; which I also believe is the intent of the games. Eastern Germany was a prime example of that in women's weight lifting during the games. By letting these practices go on, it's only a matter of financing rather than a test of skill or competence. I personally agree with the IOC and I wish that philosophy would be enforced in American sports; which we all know it is not.

Please don't play the dollar game. I realize that MS has HORDES of money, but the way you explain it implies that if they just throw 500 million dollars at a project to 'fix' something it's that easy. Even a '1 million dollar company' is truly not a 1 million dollar company; hence downsizing and layoffs. I'd much rather be the manager of a $100,000.00 company making a profit than a $10,000,000,000.00 losing money....hell, look at Enron. Again, I'm not saying that MS does not have the resources or willingness to correct these issues, it's just not always that easy.

I've also used both software programs but I'm still an avid TaxCut user and have been since 1997. It's somewhat amazing, in 1999 I PURCHASED TaxCut, Turbo Tax and Tax Saver just to see the differences. I entered all the same information into each of the three programs (took about 3 days, btw) and received 3 different tax return results; TaxCut returning the most. I reviewed each of the 3 results several times for accuracy and could not account for the discrepancies. I'm not a CPA or tax lawyer so I count on the software package I purchase to correctly identify the proper exemptions and ask the right questions for a proper return. IMO, TaxCut asks more thorough questions throughout the tutorial to ensure a proper return filing than the other 2 and the results are double checked with an 'audit buster' feature that even analyzes differences in your W2 statements (like 401k programs). I'm an avid TaxCut user because I trust it, it's thorough and I've always received the best return based on its analysis. Just my HO.
