This isn't a criminal case, it's a civil one. I also agree with the poster on this. The first words that were spoken in my BUSINESS law course were "Who do you sue? Deep pockets". That's the mandate in law courses and until that changes we (as a society) will forever encounter POS laywers who will strive to blame Disney for weapons of mass destruction. Keep in mind, that's also why consumers pay much more now for products; they HAVE to defend themselves with a 10 million dollar lawyer against suits like this. Who ultimately pays? Us. That cost gets passed right along like a counterfeit 20. Whenever something goes wrong in America we consult an attorney as a matter of habit because we've been TRAINED to do so. Sometimes bad things happen to good people just because. Get over it already.
23 million? 2 people in car accident get more than that in cival litigation; how many people has MS hurt? This whole thing is just fucked up, and I give up on the legal structure of things because the one with the most money at the end of the day wins. MONEY='Get to do what you want". Wow, what an alogarithm....we should have thought about that during the writing of the Constitution
Morality....what a word. It can be used to describe SO much; even duality. America accepted France's help during the Revolution. Were they supporting terrorism, independence or a self-serving role in Europe? America gave assistance to France during WWII. Were we supporting terrorism, independence or a self-serving role in Europe? Whatever the answer, please do not lecture, *Yawn*, on the morality of a country whose motives may be less than honorable. There's been a lot of that going on for centuries and it's not just those two countries; Iraq included. That is all.
Wow...I'll have to remember that the next time I'm at my school library doing research and I conveniently use the Xerox machine there to copy some references. Who knew that ALL those students have been breaking the law for so long. I think we should outlaw copy machines now too.
I've been saying for YEARS that AOL is basically their own little 'web'. They're not a true internet connection; they only allow to see what they want you to see. I really don't understand how people with AOL can claim it's a good experience.....but I guess ignorance is bliss.
You're absolutely correct. Getting a blowjob from an intern while on the phone with a congressman is a worthy presedential action. Staining a young girl's dress with your jizz is truly noble of an American leader. And let's not forget the whole cigar in the pussy deal....wow, I could've been president 10 years ago except for that whole minimum 35 year old citizen clause. Oh well, I guess I'll have to live with just ACTING like a president; naps included.
I'm not so sure. I have a dial-up and I got the worm IMMEDIATELY. It kept shutting down Windows to the point I couldn't even d/l the patch in time. I eventually found (through Symantec) where the worm was in the system and in the registry. Only then could I keep going long enough to install the patch and the anti-virus definition to fully remove it. It was really frustrating.
Anybody who thinks that civilians don't die in war is illusioned. Of course the US won't disclose civilian casualties; half the civilians who die are political supporters of the current regime. Do they ever mention: "Jahab Nestim, father of thirteen and husband to Nestif, Jahere and Rashif died today in an American attack to rid our country of a glorious vision. He died valiantly trying to oust the American scurge; curing our country of democracy and he upheld the cause by continuously beating his wives, supporting Saddam and giving aid to terrorists against the US". Wow, what a eulogy.
I love that argument. How many civilians do think would have died if we didn't have 'smart' weapons? I know, let's just do a carpet bombing campaign so we can validate your argument and at least lend some credence to the fact that Americans are bunch of assholes. At least that way we could live up to the perception.
Financial backing of any dictator to destroy a common enemy is pretty much standard practice in world politics. As far as WMD's in Iraq, we just used that as an excuse to remove the political structure there. Can anyone say that the world is not a better place because of it? If so, try living in Iraq for 6 months and see how well you fare under one of SH's still controlled provinces.
I had to write about your sig........Clinton's the reason you don't have a job. The economic effects of the Clinton administration were just starting to take effect when Bush was elected.
Wow, how insightful. Just remember that statement if your family is ever the unfortunate victims of a terrorist attack and you're wondering why the FBI is not questioning certain suspects because they don't want to be labeled as 'racists'.
That's all fine and dandy until you actually start to examine the 'rights' afforded to the individuals who carried out these crimes. They were NOT citizens and they were NOT born here; the US gave them PERMITS to VISIT (and some of those are suspect at that). The harsh reality is that the rest of the planet does not live by the US's laws and being the 'melting pot' that we are we have to change and adapt with the rest of the planet. Until this happens we will always have right-wingers and hippy wannabees that think the earth revolves around US ideologies. This is a mistake and will eventually bite us in the ass. Relate US history with Roman history and you'll see similarities that are frighteningly real....not because of the government specifically; but the people.

Amen, brother.
Now THAT'S a novel idea. Can you return an opened CD?

Oh great....another 2 pages to the EULA. Man, this is getting crazy, or has that been said before in this forum?

If the CD's were as cheap to produce and send out as emails are, I'd bet you would.
For the most part, like spam?

Will these redundant systems run Windows? Sorry; had to say it....no troll intended.

lol....I love it.

The poster didn't say immune to SAM attacks, he said immune to ground-based attacks; there's a difference.
Awesome....I love that statement! I wish I could mod you +5 insightful.
Terrorist groups have been killing nothing BUT civilians for a lot longer than 9/11. Where's your argument now?

I can tell that the social building the US did after WWII helped the school systems in France; especially in spelling.

Now THAT'S funny! I wish I could mod right now!
