Your talking about heated battles, he's talking about long term stalemates. If the rain floods my trench and I have to sit on the side, it would theoretically be the perfect time to pick off some enemy soldiers who are doing the same thing. In reality I'm trying to keep my food from floating away or being eaten by swimming rats and I will wave at that poor human stuck in the same situation as I and basically declare a temporary truce.
no RAID for me Desktop (server) runs headless, Opensuse. 1 OS HD, 1 Data hard drive, currently 1TB. A third drive is in the case and mounts itself and rsyncs on a weekly basis, This saves me from fat finger mistakes replicating instantly. I shuffle everything into a crashplan account as an archive. This is mostly long term storage data, like pictures, music, ebooks that have been organized in a calibre library.
I have multiple laptops, tablets, and phones that the family use.
Sugar pills?! How insensitive, there is a diabetes problem in this nation. You slip those to someone with type 1 and it could cause some serious issues.
I was just at Target this weekend, they had several minecraft branded toys. My son has a minecraft baby pig we purchased at kmart at least 6 months ago.
If it's so easily replicable, why hasn't it been replicated? Hulu, more expensive and always has ads even with subscription. Amazon, expensive up front or per episode costs. Apple, expensive per episode pricing. others, no selection or commercials.
In all, I find netflix's back catalog very compelling and well worth $7 / month. The original programming is icing on the cake.
And I've recently adopted the habit at work of going to the restroom in an adjacent building once or twice a day rather than just always using one just down the hall
I hear you mate, give the office mates a break and leave that growler in another dept.
Labor value has been significantly less then capital value for a long time, by design. IMHO, this is bullshit, but it goes back to at least the vilification of the labor movement in the 40's. It continues today, with wealthy "capitalists" convincing working people to forego their best interests because of whatever single issue they can get people worked up about. Obamacare, abortion, drugs, welfare cheats; all of these are social issues designed to distract. Even crime, terrorism, and our recent wars are blown way out of proportion to give people something to argue about.
My daughters school required Ipads this year, which parents had to either purchase or rent. They indicated they would offset books by using resources on the Ipad, since the rental fee was about the same as book fees usually are. Oddly enough, when book fees came out, hers were twice the normal amount.
Recent studies show some people have less trouble reading on a small screen. I love reading on a small screen. I've been using ebooks since I got my hands on a palm m505.

Out here in the real word, feeling full does matter. Even if you don't eat more, hungry kids are more easily distracted and have trouble learning. Hungry co-workers can be crabbier and less pleasant to e around.
The instant you discount people's feeling you are off the rails and into spherical cow territory.
Well, technically WW2 was just a continuation of WW1, so you hae to go back pretty far to measure. You also need to take into account the suffering during an after the war. Sure it all seems ok almost a century later.
Only humans would round up all the alpha males and go to an extended war. Meanwhile the 2nd tier males are left alone with the women.

To be fair, that press release (article) had alot of weasel words.
Not even an 8% increase, that press release (article) says almost 70%. It is certainly not 70% or they would be saying almost 75%.
I trust him more then I trust the current single arbitrators.
wow, talk about spoiled...
I agree that upload needs to be considered, but 10mb is a great starting point for basic broadband service.

Not just brown/red people, read about the rancher/farmer wars out west.
an app that displays a cool symbol, like the nike swoosh or Beats audio logo. It needs to cost a couple hundred to be worthwhile.

Even 1.5 can handle video for one device. upload is unimportant.

I usually skim and ignore death threats, but I find the way he alternates between threats and endearments quite alarming.
I wouldn't be so sure about your Putin calculations. He may have some sort of ace up his sleeve. David beat Goliath with one stone.
