    Why does the NRA have to spread a message. Why can't it be Wayne LaPoop's message, or whever is selected as the head of an organization. I don't see how we lose anything.

    One of the functions of a corporation is to separate some of the aspects of management (control) from ownership. This allows management to hijack capitol in much the same way it hijacks labor. it is essential so that cronyism can flourish.

    Yeah, all those business and gov. surveillance cameras do jack 90% of the time. The pictures is too grainy, or the camera stopped working, or they switched to HD and only store 15 days cause disks are expensive. Unless you get caught immediately, a camera is not a big concern. They are really only good for proving something you already know.

Can you imagine trying to live with someone who knew everything you know and thought they were an improvement over you?     In my experience the young kids from a poor background can't afford unpaid internships. They know how to work. It's the dumb lower upper class kids whose parents can support them while they "toil" away that will be "hurt" by this.

    I don't see the problem, all work has value.

    Any impact was negligible. 501c4's do not allow tax deductible contributions and 501c4 organizations, being non-profit, should have little or no taxable income. The only benefit is they don't have to report their donors.

    Maybe it's because these leaks were new information, or new confirmations. It's something I would like to see investigated more deeply.
    In contrast the IRS problems were known about for a year before they were trotted out as a source of outrage. Probably to derail IRS attempts to regulate midterm election spending. It's not completely clear that an unusual percentage of right-wing groups were targets. 1/3 were left-wing and we do not know the total percentages of applications. The scrutiny was certainly not wrong, potentially the targeting was. Outrage is a little early.

    No, but I stick to Ubuntu/Mint and OpenSUSE. They can usually handle any hardware I dig out of the dumpster.

    Those road shoulders and following distance rules aren't there because humans are stupid (well, not entirely). There will always be unforseen problem. If cars are bumper to bumper and someone has a blowout it becomes a major issue. Especially if there is not a road shoulder to park on.

    If the data is there, they should read it. Obviously it is not there. At least not the most important data, the password.

    Your also missing the larger point. If you can be punished because of failure to provide existing data, who is to say you don't have some when you are arrested. Those family pictures could have encrypted stenagraphy. Your refusal to acknowledge this could leave you imprisoned indefinitely.

    My wife's old Palm Pixi always popped something on the screen if it detected a data connection. You had to tell it whether you wanted power only, or a data connection. This was probably because it ceased to function as a phone while in data mode, but something that would be worthwhile duplicating.

    You do realize how silly it is for the government to be required to ask itself for a warrant right? That's like a home schooled kid having to ask his parent to sign his grade card. It's nonsense.

    So the system of checks and balances that our entire system is built on is worthless? I disagree. I disagree wholeheartedly.
