    You guys don't have local computer wholesalers in the 'States?

    In Vancouver at least, we're crawling with them. We have stores that all they do is sell computer parts (and for reasonable prices, not like CompUSA or Staples).

    Just as Canada and the US have done some pretty bad things but by and large most people been a part of that. Forced sterilization, internment camps, gitmo, Arar, Chinese head tax, residential schools, successful native American genocide, etc..

    The difference is, most of those things were done in the past, when the country was young. The chinese government does not have the excuse of being young or having these actions done in the past.

    May I also add that they (for the iPod Nano):

    1. Changed the back to the "silver" scratch the minute you remove it from the box
    2. Moved the lock button to a hard to reach location, and made the size impossible to use.

    5Mbit/512kbit is really nothing compared to what some other countries are offering.

    I live in the sticks in British Columbia, Canada and I have 25mbit/1mbit to my doorstop.

    Please provide proof that there's actually botnets on DALnet. You're blowing smoke here. DALnet actively works at removing botnets from their network in the event that there are any.

    You can run mail servers on a business account on Shaw with no problems. You were violating their Terms of Service doing otherwise.

    On my production sites, I simply give the user a nice error message when they attempt to visit the site using broken web browsers such as Safari, and in some cases Internet Explorer.

    Anyone in China that has a computer that can run Vista, can afford the bit of extra money to buy Vista.

    It comes down to a lot of them being cheap, and turning to piracy as opposed to actually buying the product. It's a cultural thing.

    Sadly, I have a conservative MP in my riding who hasn't responded to a letter, or phone call in a good 6 years.

    I wonder what we as voters can do in situations like this when people of this nature keep getting back in power?
