If you have disk imaging software (Drive Image, etc.), after updating everything make an image and burn to CD. The next time you have to redo his system (and it sounds innevitable) just blast back to the base image.
Thing is, what percentage of Indians can afford to buy a house? Something tells me it is way lower than 10%! (This may, as all things, change)

I RTFA'd, so maybe I'm just being dense, but...
At the beginning of the article we had somebody who liked how the Rubicon handled in a game. He then proceeds to buy one based just on that?!? He even said he only test drove it after he signed the paperwork!
I mean, you could make a game where a Yugo goes Mach 5, but that doesn't mean it will!
(The only reason I think I may just be dense is because it doesn't look like anybody else has pointed this out yet.)
Nope...
The article says:
"People using Windows XP with the stolen key will not be able to apply the service pack or any future updates available from Microsoft's Web site."
(emphasis mine)
The way I read it, you'll just be stuck at a non-service-packed XP.
How long until they offer an "improved" version, that has an overlaid clock/calendar, or just a HUD connected to the implanted, bone-conductive phone?
Only partially joking, but I can also see the reverse being true - X% discount if you can put up with scrolling banner ads at the bottom of your vision, etc.
Comcast Cable has sent cease and desist letters to Sony, Magnavox and other major television manufacturers, demanding removal of the number buttons on TV remotes.
"By allowing TV viewers to go directly from Channel 2 to Channel 50, they are denying channels 3 through 49 of valuable 'click-through' advertising opportunities. This will not stand!"
I've done this, just to see how it would turn out.
Guess what - I couldn't tell the difference. The only "hardship" was the half second or so pause between when I hit record in the recording app and play on the CD player.
Yes, this was using an (decent quality) analog cable, recording at standard CD quality.
My guess is, anyone whose ears are so hypersensitive as to be able to hear the quality loss using this method probably isn't interested in lossy MP3's anyway.
The only problem with this method it time - you're effectivly ripping at 1x, which gets tedious real quick.
Uh, would this be the same Universal Music Group that a few articles ago was selling protected CD's, presumabley to keep unauthorized distribution down?

So, just wait for them to use it, then walk up next to them and scream, yell...whatever!
You: "Hey, Joe!!!!"
Them: "Wha? AAAARRRRGH!"
You're happy, they're dazed, and all is right with the world!
Methinks this is why the government cares about this - they want their bleedin' bandwidth back.
So... what other uses?
How the HELL did is miss that? I'm a clueless idiot!

Or the best security, either.
Oh, right, they took a class and fixed that...
Couldn't the phone company then sue them for incorporating their tones into the works that they coppyrighted?!?
