Here you go, here's a complete credit list for Joss Whedon at IMDB Included in the list are TITAN AE, Alien Resurrectoin, X-men the movie (uncredited), and Aliens.

Perhaps you've seen Aliens, or the X-men movie, or many of his other film credits. The Onion has a GREAT interview with him in their AV section in which he discusses his past endeavors besides buffy. Joss Wheadon has done LOTS of Sci-Fi. You just didn't know it was him.

If your using windows (blech!) you can get a program for free that blocks your port 80, as well as tells you the IP number of somebody attempting to get in. The program is called Portblocker, and the company that makes it is analog X. I often bomb the person who tries to access my computer with telnet requests just to irritate them.

You have to be a member to watch a commercial (the trailer) so that you'll go buy their product (the movie). That is beyond lame.

Yeah but what about Masters Of Orion II !! Now that was a bad ass game! I still play it every now and then. The game just never gets old. I still can't beat the game using Psilons with a Small Universe, and the "Impossible" setting and Prewarp status.

Okay, so this sparked something in me! This is the first thing I've felt excited about in years regarding technology and communications. I remember the grand old days of BBS. This sounds like a similar idea. Localized connections, not the whole world to contend with. Perhaps the networks could interconnect and you'd be able to connect Boards halfway across the US! OH THIS COULD BE GOOD!

Things said in future series. Worf's comment about things that happened that they "don't like to talk about with outsiders." Perhaps something happened which took the bumps away for a brief period, and brought them back. We all sort of assumed the bumpy foreheads came AFTER the thing they "don't like to talk about" perhaps the lack of bumps was caused by the thing they "don't like to talk about." As for Captain Picards reference to first contact with the Klingons. Who knows what the future ramifications of the contact will be. Isn't that what the series is about?

You actually have to go through the effort of turning advertisements off. I prefer that Salon make more money off me by being able to show ads to me. I don't mind the advertisements. I know they help pay for a service that I view as vital to the strength of our democracy [I know, I know, melodramatic].

Salon is in my opinion one of the best sources for news on the web. They present a balanced view of the world unlike the corporate controlled interests of today. Just watching Fox news after the tragedies in New York made me want to vomit. They were reporting the number 20,000 dead as though it were a hard fact. They were running the images of the building blowing up as though it were the only loop of video they had. They were inviting commentators who had nothing but right wing nutty things to say. I pay for Salon's premium service, and I don't have to watch those ads. I would be glad to watch the ads if it meant that Salon sticks around for yet another day.
