not true. i have to admit that during first gameplay i thought somewhat like you.
then i tried speed run and since level time limit was 6 min while i still didn't finished it in 99:59:99 i figured i have to do something wrong. 5 days later i finished all speed runs in time limit and boy... i can tell you completely different game. purest high speed action i ever played.
biggest problem this game had was bad presentation how and where you should run. red vision marked probably THE most boring and unintuitive way how to get to the goal, while no one really told/shown you running basics like speed vaults and so on.
i could very well put alpha on all of my apps and know they are rock stable. and some proprietary ??finished?? softwares really don't deserve final version.
alpha very well depends on how you develop - if you add feature, make it rock stable, add feature... your alpha will just miss some features but still be better than most finalized - if you add all features and then start polishing... your alpha will really be a piece of shit like you describe
is theirs. only Darl is capable to get with this random representation. and courts already have proof in their notes based on alll stupidity he said when he was in court
i just want some decent homebrew audio player, the one in GameOS is pure example how blasphemy can still look good. and maybe homebrew video player which actually supports other codecs and subtitles
yea, but then again not everyone is Jesus Christ and offers other cheek. it's a chicken and egg problem. if you keep quiet you get raped, if you stand up, somebody else gets raped.
the only question is which would take more victims: complete world revolution or victims of politics during the time when no one did nothing. usually later is taking bigger toll over time but, then again, no one says the new government wont be even worse. there is no right and wrong. those seeing black and white have their reasons, those seeing shades of gray have their reasons and those seeing in color have their reasons.
i'm strong proponent of peace, but some things just piss me off too much to be able to retain my approach.
and the this world was raped from side of politicians, i really hope there is some kind of RESET.
playing on console and big screen is simply so much better than PC. everything simply works and there is no needed upgrades.
now imagine my position. i only have one HDMI on my projector and i play on 4m screen (also my playing distance is fairly away to fit that screen). can't and don't want to plug PC. my gaming setup costed more than 10000eur. i don't plan to hassle with PC and its deficiencies based on "JUST WORKS" principle for multimedia.
while i will never, ever pirate one game, i'd still love to watch my (legaly bought/produced) multimedia files on screen larger than my 27" monitor and sitting in my comfy gaming chair instead of piece of my office furniture.
should we also apply the same tactics and proclaim Nobel as greatest mass murderer our planet has ever seen? [ although i hate guns, i still agree with "Guns don't kill people, people kill people" ]
and homebrew applies very well when you have really expensive setup. i don't have pc connected to it and i don't plan to run it on small 27" screen
And if this means MS way of patching (they never solve problems, they mostly disable them)? "Look at number of unemployed? Patch will disable and eradicate them! Homeless? Another patch! etc."
btw. I think this new kind of patching should be called "genocide method":)
Considering that this $100 laptop does not come bundled with a Microsoft OS, we can really expect impartial reporting from MSN.
Yeah, and I can confirm that. I just got back from other reality. Up there OLPC is shipping with Windows and Gates just made a statement, where he said:
"Yes, we know the problem with people lacking 100$, but just imagine how these kids will now have opportunity to achieve something what they wouldn't be otherwise. Computers were just dreams for those kids and now they just became reality which could potentially help them to secure their future.
We at Microsoft were working hard to achieve this goal to help those kids... [bunch of blahblah how MS worked hard on that project, so I simply cut it out]
This was a real win for us, because we helped world to understand that with commercial software there is opportunity for everyone to secure its future, intellectual property and other basic resources. This just shows that world is starting to understand that "Free Software" is nothing but promoting hunger to the future. We made sure to let them know that there is no payment if you do work for free. And they understood that fact almost without any questions.
For my final word, I have to say thanks to [bunch of other blahblah about IP awareness and companies/governments that respect it]. This is one project to secure better future to the world and ease future relations between nations."
I thought everybody just kind of knew that hardware companies weren't going to supply hardware to bad reviewers? That would just be counter-intuitive on the part of the manufacturer. That's pretty much why I don't put too much stock in reviews and try and dig as much info as I can out of user reviews.
It is their product and reviews are part of the marketing. So,... yes, it is a common practice to be precise who will review your product and who will not. Just as company has to have a clue about promotion and advertising material.
What I was disappointed more was the "Hollier than thou" attitude from Hexen.
Emboldening two sentences, where one was put into mouth from them selves? The noisy part was actually written by Hexen and not Alienware as they would like us to believe. Answer Alienware provided was just saying, reviews are part of the marketing and we have to be careful about who will review. Hexen obviously hasn't got enough clue to know how business is running. If you want to make bashing (or even honest) reviews, then buy the goddamn hardware. Suppliers simply are not stupid to provide you with free hardware for a bad review. Not great, but it is how world is turning.
But more disappointing was the fact that Hexen was the attacker here and Alienware acted as bystander. 1. It was Hexen who asked for free hardware to review. Alienware didn't request them to review their hardware.
2. It was Hexen who first attacked with the email inviting 'Alienware' to submit a G80 based system was sent without my authority.
if i had known that there was any intention whatsoever to invite 'Alienware' to submit any product to HEXUS, i would have prevented that happening.
3. It was Hexen who said... the only inference which can be made from this is that 'Alienware' will only submit products to publications which will write nice things about 'Alienware'. Off course you fool. Reviews are part of the marketing. Marketing is part of selling the product. So, why pay and cover expenses for bad adds? Maybe in the "merry go round" country where Paul Dutton lives life is rosy. All other people actually live in reality. This is what answer That's was and remains Alienware's global marketing strategy from the beginning. We're hardly alone. means here. Why digging your own grave and putting nails in your own coffin? Hexen was just to childish to swallow "Face it, there is a zillion reviewers in the world, sorry, you're not our choice.". Yep it is hard to be threated like a commoner.
4. It was Hexen who said you should not contact anyone at HEXUS again. no reply is necessary, or wanted. What a childish attempt. If it was done in e-mail following 4 or 5 previous e-mails it would show simple wish to pose "mexican standoff" to the correspondence or a wish to terminate that talk. But using this in the first e-mail (along with bashing the unprofessional approach of the other side) just dhows Paul Dutton lives in the "land of merry go round" and he's mentally exactly 3 years old.
And my final notes to Paul Dutton 1. You took the wrong pill 2. Grow up or wake up, just pick your poison 3. After nr.2 of your choice be careful to choose the right pill this time and notice that world is not turning around you and Hexen is not the center of the world. Some people don't give a slightest fuck if Hexen exists or not.

me too.
after finally seeing mass effect in action. i was kinda disappointed i actually wasted my time reading praises
hah, you jump on the ledge and down. sad story, dying was faster way to climb down;) in speed run dying was a must
nah, it wont... there will always be fanboys who thinks Steve Jobs shits gold.
it would be hard to call them open if they didn't.
i for one know that i'm much more interested in Sogo than OX.
and just what makes your alpha assumption?
i could very well put alpha on all of my apps and know they are rock stable. and some proprietary ??finished?? softwares really don't deserve final version.

i'd call this as a serious needs for larger mental hospitals and meds that put you into totally vegetative state
based on the fact they can change the rules after you buy... you didn't bought it, you loaned it.
so small correction is in order "it only does everything... except belongs to you"
they have the code
int getRandomNumber()
{
return (4);
}
is theirs. only Darl is capable to get with this random representation. and courts already have proof in their notes based on alll stupidity he said when he was in court
i just want some decent homebrew audio player, the one in GameOS is pure example how blasphemy can still look good. and maybe homebrew video player which actually supports other codecs and subtitles
and if it is right... i just have to learn how to do it cooperatively, so i can finally abandon walking.
yea, but then again not everyone is Jesus Christ and offers other cheek. it's a chicken and egg problem. if you keep quiet you get raped, if you stand up, somebody else gets raped.

lol, i can't do that now even if i try
i already replaced all my NVidia cards and switched to ATI when they released documentation. and every computer i bought after had amd card.
and there is no place where i could brag with replacing 8 NVidia cards because of their linux support
lol, true. but still i don't see him in history books being mentioned before Hitler&Co.

i could do it with two empty cans and used shoelace.
it's all about recycling these days;)
they should wait for 2013, sequels suck even more in 99.99999%
otherwise we are doomed on security. every part of password can be verified stand alone in every movie.
but then again, we will have awesome webcams with infinite detail zoom
Well, patching the old system takes time:)
And if this means MS way of patching (they never solve problems, they mostly disable them)? "Look at number of unemployed? Patch will disable and eradicate them! Homeless? Another patch! etc."

You're not far from the truth if you say re-re-election.
Bush was the MS funded lapdog, so this would mean status quo. President would change, originator wouldn't.

simply couldn't resist making this comment:)
Nah, I'm calling this one I'm surfing with right now a wet dream.
