I can't believe that MythTV still isn't to a 1.x release... From a user adoption perspective, 1.x looks better than 0.21, which to me implies that it is still beta ( 1.0).
They're pulling the service pack because one of the pre-requisite patches you need to install... They aren't pulling the service pack. They are pulling the update for the listed KB. The service pack is still available.
Ha! My bad. If you're interested in weather models, that's a link for you. If you're interested in the compound adjective nature of "Daylight Saving Time" then you can go to my intended link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time
Who do you think owns the source of GFS, NAM, and those satellites that you speak of? NOAA! AccuWeather seems to miss the mark frequently. I trust the NWS over ANY online source because of their *local* forecasting offices. Not some weather company who issues local forecasts from the other side of the country (or GLOBE!).
Also, just because it snows, doesn't mean that the temps drop 15 degrees (F, I presume). The colder it is, the less of an effect the snow cover has on temperatures. Unless of course, that snow is falling as supercooled snow! Snow should be around 0 degrees Celsius, not any colder.
The problem is that these assumptions are based on our (perhaps) flawed-physics knowledge. Our time is not their time. Speed of light could be slow to them. To think that space never ends and what could be out there is mind boggling.
Exactly. Analyzing any amount of data only amounts to about the size of a gnat (their data) compared to a blue whale (the age of Earth). It doesn't tell us anything, and is extremely micro in nature. It may seem like a long time ago, but it really isn't. I believe that we may be able to partly affect the micro-timeline of Earth's existence, but it's going to do what it wants (Mother Nature) when it wants when looking at a macro scale -- us humans and our inventions don't/won't really matter.
But since I'm on a mobile device, wouldn't it make more sense to have the tld be "m," or something like that? I mean why four characters? ibm.m is even shorter yet.
Looks like their DNS servers are not responding to my queries when I try to resolve www.darknet.org.uk. Does anyone have the IP address of that site? How about a copy of the article? The listed nameservers (ns[12].malaysiablogs.com) appear to be unresponsive.
I think someone forgot the conversion number to put inside the parenthesis as yards does not equal meters at a factor of 1:1... Should've been, 580 metres (638 yards). Also, 500 is not correct as according to the JPL, the diameter is 580 meters.
Do you fall under the scope of the Sarbanes-Oxley act? By not allowing sudo or plain 'ol root access, accountability goes way up if you have to call the help-desk to perform whatever action you need to take. You have effectively limited the scope of those who can make changes to the system and presumably the changes that are made are logged.
Anyone try to revive their Tandy 1000 TL/2? I tried a few years back with Minux, but believe there was a hardware support issue, or something like that... Anyway.
If you use a passcode to get into your iPhone, it is extremely secure. AES-256, secure. http://images.apple.com/ipad/business/docs/iOS_Security_May12.pdf
Not to metion how many users they are losing to Google Chrome I hardly run FF anymore.
Gmail might have a better uptime than Exchange, but at least Exchange has push-email.
Since when were laptops designed to be on 24x7?

Does the guy even know how much computing power there will be in 10 years? Come on. Seriously.

Yes, I agree, damn it. It's Daylight Saving Time. It's a compound adjective which modifies the noun, time.

They want all of our "base"?
Not to mention that the costume designers knew it when they made the film.
'Course you need to have your own domain name and an unfiltered SMTP port to make it work... :)
That's it. I can turn it on and off whenever I want.

Yes, another vote for Pelican cases.
Look for more information on the ISC Web site. Bottom line is this is not an OS issue, rather a "firmware/driver" issue.
This idea is what we typically call "Business Analysts." They are the liason between the business and IT. Nothing new here with this report.
They are resolving now. Thanks.
