I can't seem to find any other images of the watch anywhere on that website or elsewhere on the web for that matter. The angle it's at hides the thickness of the watch.... it could be 3/4 of an inch thick =/
I think it's absolutely STUPID to say that a P2 333 is 'fast enough' for home use. Granted, 3GHz might be overkill at the moment *only* because of how expensive it is, but there are definitely reasons to have a fast machine.
Hell, even if you disregard every single cool application that either runs better or needs a fast machine to run, it's worth getting a fast machine simply for how responsive it is.
When you sign up, if I remember correctly, hotmail used to have an ENABLED option to share your email address... you had to go into options and disable it. Also, make sure you're not signed up for any newsletters or other crap. I've created multiple hotmail accounts, and never get spammed until I use that address somewhere.
Honestly... do you have to ask? You know as well as I do - it doesn't sell. There's a limited audience for what TechTV was originally supposed to be. It might not seem that way if you hang out with other techies, but it's true.
"Anime Unleashed focuses on the science-fiction elements of anime--titles that imagine what our near or far future will be like, investigate the relationship between humans and machines, dream of what alien civilizations could be like, and more."
Doesn't that cover a large majority of all anime out there? =)
One of the strangest series I've ever seen... It doesn't seem like something American audiences would like at ALL (lots of slow, moody scenes, lots of 'wtf is going on') but I'm glad TechTV is brave enough to carry it =)

Give him the karma. And mods, why the hell are you modding up this post's parents, and it's parent's parent?
The amp doesn't go halfway between anything, and you don't need a similar device on the other end.
Put your conscience to rest... if you start seeing eachother regularly, I'm sure you'll eventually tell her and I'm sure you'll both laugh about it. Like I posted earlier, this is the technological update of calling her friends to find out what she's into!
In the past, you used to ask friends who knew the girl about her, to get an idea of what she likes or what she's about. This is just a technological update of that idea, and I really think it's harmless.
If you were to search for me, you'd find out:
a) I've played Quake b) I've posted on Slashdot c) I'm a Tool fan d) I've gone to UCLA
We're not talking about sniffing her panties and going through her mailbox, we're talking about searching the (public) Internet.

I know and have spoken to enough 'non-computer' people to understand the influence of the media (and a strong brand name) on them. At the mention of a computer with an AMD processor, they get this dubious look in their eyes, and become hesitant. It's ingrained in them that INTEL makes THE PROCESSORS, and the other guys 'try to do the same thing.'
That's awesome, thanks you =) I hadn't read that before.

"Most powerful home system"? 3.06GHz P4s are available, I don't understand why this system has a 2.8 overclocked to 2.9?

But 802.11g is also backwards compatible with 802.11b (11Mbps at 2.4GHz) and 802.11a (54Mbps at 5GHz.)
Read up on all the specs for the different 802.11 standards at ZDnet.
-Berj
FYI, 802.11g is the spec for wireless networks that provides data rates of up to 54Mbps (54 Megabits per second.)

Pay phones still have some use... doesn't anyone watch The Sopranos?

I'm ashamed =(
10mbps is still reasonably fast, though! =)
-Berj
They talk about 10mbps soon, though, and that's T1 speed.
-Berj
Why is this not available in the US yet?

How much do you wanna bet when they say they're investing 15-million, they mean they're creating $15,000,000 worth of items in-game? =)
$50,000 from Uber Swords of Slaying (500 @ $100 apiece)
$5,000 from Moldy Muffins (5,000 @ $1 each)
etc, etc.

Stop, stop!!! You're ruining my faith in humanity =(
