    Don't bet on that. They will just levy a tax calculated on your gross body weight, which will have to be reported year year to the IRS due to the future 'single payer' health care that will be based on your 'health'.

    But there is one advantage to the iphone - since you can't take out the battery, it remains on the network for a longer time to receive the wipe signal.

    It takes seconds to turn it off or stick it in a shielded bag.

    If the device cant talk to the towers, it wont get a wipe signal:

    1 - get device and turn off immediately or remove battery
    2 - put in cage ( room sized is best )
    3 - power back up and do your forensics without concern

    Well, good thing this isn't about desktop OS's, then, isn't it? In fact, coding for OS X is free and unrestricted, just as with Windows. On the other hand... You know that for Windows Mobile 7, apps need Microsoft's approval, don't you?

    TV's have been around forever and cant be helping. I know people that leave them on WHILE they sleep...

    Just turn it *all* off a while before bed. Simple cheap solution. If you need something to do, how about interacting with your family or going for a walk?

    Of course freedom(s) can be abused by a few, but that is not a reason to restrict it from the masses.

    Your attitude really scares me, and is part of what is wrong these days with society. Once you limit a freedom, its a matter of time before its gone completely.

    As a side note, free speech does not mean it HAS to be published, it just cant be restricted from being published/distributed.

    I disagree, if your house/apartment door is closed, there was no 'invitation' thus they broke the law, not you. If you have leave it wide open with a sign ' free beer party', and you don't take steps to at least close your bedroom door, then ya, you are negligent.

    However that said, you can be sued in civil court for anything, by anyone.. doesn't mean its valid or you will lose but they can.

    Only when there was reasonable expectation that the goods were stolen. If you acted in good faith you don't get prosecuted, you just lose your stuff.
