    This is just insane but it doesn't do much good for us all to sit here and whine about it to ourselves. *we* are not the market that keeps funding these people. Howver, *we* have a responsibility to mobilize and get the word out to the *regular public*. Call every talk show you can print flyers.. Spread the word, while we still have the right of "freespeech" on our side.

    Even in the summary, it states they are intending to use Bootcamp: "With Boot Camp students at the Pennsylvania liberal arts college will be able to switch between Windows and OSX, choosing which applications and OS to use at any given time."

    So they arent dumping windows, they are just going to a more manageable single-source hardware vendor, whch just happens to be Apple.

    Sure, its a good thing as more students will get a taste of OSX, but please be a bit more accurate here of what is going on. Geesh.

    I don't care that I'm not doing anything wrong, i don't want my equipment keeping an eye on me and automatically snitching on me if it thinks i am doing something wrong. Its *MY* hardware, it should do my bidding, not the other way around.

    Whats next, cars that call the police and cry for help if you exceed the speed limit? or cable guys that are just an extension of the law, looking for infractions in your home and get bonuses for turning people in?

    Perhaps when it first was thought up it *might* have made a little bit of sense, but today, lots of the arguments just disappear: Such as: Lights at the office: They are on all day anyway, natural light is a thing of the past.. Streetlights: Well you still have the same amount of light/dark so that does nothing for you either. Easier to do business: unless we have ONE timezone for the entire world, that is just a silly argument.

    If i say no, its none of their business.

    Having your IP and date/time IS identifying you. All it takes is a quick phone call to your ISP, and they can instantly have your address and name.
