    Tandy had a few of those things, pretty cheap on Ebay these days... ( such as the WP2, Mdl100 )

    They may not be 'full screen' but they are very portable, run forever on a set of batteries, and weigh nothing..

    You can still get *unopened* sinclair Z88's if you look around..

    Hell, with your menatlity we should also ban ( or monitor ) guns, sticks, cars, streets, shoes... books...

    We have a right to privacy. Regardless of how SOME incorrectly use that right. THEY should have that right restricted, not the rest of us.

    Not saying GWB is right or wrong, as i refuse to get into that debate, but the 2 term limit is a farce. A good president should have the option to be re-elected as needed. If hes not worthy of the re-elect, he wont get the votes.

    Be it honest or not, marketing is what wins the battle.

    When was the last time you saw a linux commercial? When was the last time you saw a Microsoft commercial? Bet it was the microsoft one.

    This also goes for IT publications and IT consumers. The magazines are plastered with them. With very few linux ones ( mostly IBM ads )

    A library is a public resource. They don't need to know who you are unless you plan on checking out a resource to remove from the premises.

    Sometimes the grief you can get from standing up for yourself at the wrong time isn't worth it at that moment.

    Sometimes its better to wait to make your case...

    Spending the next 6 months in prison to make your point ( or dead ) even if you are right, isn't cool. Especially when postponing your 'statement' a little will keep you outside.

    Proper timing is everything. Especially when you have a life to lead, and a family to support.

    And in this case he's getting his word out, and saved his financial butt in the process.
