An FP on a test day. This is a good sign. I'd like to thank all that little people that helped make this FP possible. I'd especially like to thank my FreeBSD NAT that helped deliver this very special FP. And now I'm off to my control systems test. Wish me luck, slashdot. Here is a control haiku for you:

If you are a beginning CS student and are looking to learn, this is what you need to do instead of studying failures on slashdot:

WRITE CODE. WRITE A SHITLOAD OF CODE.

It doesn't matter what you are writing, just write code. Find a project that needs help or start your own and then WRITE CODE ALL DAY. The only way to get good at something is to do it - A LOT. In fact, why are you reading this? Shouldn't you be coding right now?

"Since Brian LaMacchia was an MIT doctoral student of Hal Abelson who is the prof concerned, chances of that happening are nil."

Where is the logic in this? Just because he was the doctoral student of the professor who is holding the lecture doesn't mean that he won't look like an ass when trying to answer an unpredictable array of questions. Statements like these from someone who is supposedly MIT educated? WTF?
