    A colleague in a previous jobs was aged over 60, had worked as a project manager in a previous life, and now worked as a manual writer/technical writer. Boring stuff but somebody had to do it. It suited his stress level just fine.

    Even if it does work, it will use radio frequency interference. And an airport is full of RF equipment - Instrument Landing System, VOR, radars, pilot communications. Or they could be shooting down drones. The airport will have to be shut down because RF interference or bullets from anti-drone guns.

    QOS only affects outgoing packets. This is generally light traffic on a home network - mainly ACKS. QOS can not affect your incoming traffic, which usually has a far greater volume than incoming. In other words QOS has virtually no affect in a typical home environment. Its a marketing gimmick .

This is the indoctrination you get when you work for Microsoft, you start spruiking low-level marketing jumbo-jumbo to a very technical audience.

    Lawyers dont get concerned, they get paid either way. And lawyer letters are a dime a dozen. The only way you will get settlement is after it reaches court, by which time much has been spent by both parties in legal fees.

    You do NOT have multiple copyright owners for the kernel.

    ALL the copyright of the kernel is assigned to one entity (not sure if its Linus, but there is only one owner of the source).

    All my domains have DNS servers NS1.domain.com NS2.domain.com that are registered with the root nameservers. Godaddy supports this online, but for other registrars its a manual process (hello Melbourne IT).

    Does others have this issue, and what registrar would you recommend?

    If the GPL is not valid, the source code is subject to copyright law.
    You have to negotiate with the copyright holder directly to use it, just like a book author negotiates with a publisher.

    Instead of Java I would choose C. Modern RISC machines are built to run C fast. What CPUs are designed to run Java.

    The difference in accuracy of military and civilian GPS is due to the algorithms used. Civilian GPS is not able to decode all the bits of the signal, as the least significant bits are encrypted.

    There is a more accurate "workaround" for civilian use called differential GPS. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differential_GPS
