The average mature adult can't seem to make sound financial decisions past about 3 to 6 months out, and forget about contingency planning of any sort. Dumb-ass ethos like: "Bad stuff doesn't happen to good people.", "It never happened to me before; so, it's too unlikely to bother with.", "Someone else will fix it if it's a problem.", "It's only a problem if you don't ignore it.", "If you didn't succeed, it's because you didn't work hard enough for it.", etc... pretty much rule that out.

Assuming the need for a temporary setup, the park is only about 2 blocks away from the Nile River. It should be possible to use a pump truck or something to pump the water in. There are some things to look out for, though. For instance, the smell of raw river water, blocking city streets with the temporary line, and the political football it gives to any opposition if (even decommissioned) fire-fighting equipment is used for a political event. E.G. politicians in the US will take emergency equipment out of service during a disaster to use as a photo opportunity instead to generate publicity and fake "leadership" imagery.

Not really advice, just an observation from multiple events: The most jealous ones are frequently the ones that fuck around on you. This is regardless of your gender or theirs, right or wrong, morals or ethics.

It seems to be based on a broader general assumption amongst individuals that people act the same way for the same reasons as themselves. Scoping out people based on sexual preferences equals going to cheat for people that have a hard time controlling their urge to be promiscuous. And, if anything, the negative feelings the jealousy engenders tends to justify on a purely irrational level cheating even if the partner is faithful to the relationship. (For instance: I feel bad about you and this sexual relationship. Therefore, I feel bad because of you and this relationship. Therefore, I am justified in looking for a different sexual relationship to make me feel better.)

Teach me to make a populist appeal... I am referring to politicians, pundits, lobbyists, and other political power players at large. Most people seem to think when a politician does something those people do not think is a good idea, the politician must be dumb. When they see them make a political move to energize their target audience at the expense of their "opponents" it is frequently perceived as irrational and offensive behavior by sympathizers of those opponents.

For instance, rather than talk about how just because leadership does something in its own self interest at the expense of some substantial portion of society does not necessarily make it smart nor dumb and have people look at me funny, I sometimes just try to refer to something in terms they can comprehend without confusion and frustration instead. It usually saves time by stymieing arguments over trivial aspects of what I am trying to say. Fail.

I still believe their motivations are frequently more simian than human. So, the allusion still fits. Although, that is just my personal opinion.

It is not just the officially labeled government you have to be concerned with regulating the market to death for it's own advantage. Any entity with enough power and influence to significantly manipulate the "free" market is a threat to it, not just the turd flinging buffoons in the capital. Hell, some of you understand this on some level, referring to it as a (Corporate Entity's Name) Tax. It might as well be that or some kind of fine. To explain: "Larger groups" refers to social groups that are large enough to where the members are not particularly interested in the health and welfare of other individual members.

"In the end, it appears that you're working towards your own goals."
