I couldn't care less about AIM. Who Cares. There are a bunch of other IMs out there, and What's up AOLs ass. Just play nice with others, and get over it. (It wont eat up all your programmers time.)
When ever I think of someone starting a new database... I think of Infocom, and Cornerstone... look how well it worked for them ?!?
I like RedHat...I wish them luck though.
(Please keep it opensource!)
I will say this, it shows that Opensource has not only gives us freedom, but It keeps MS on thier toes.
Apparently, MS is taking Security seriously now because of some competition, but they should have done this a long time ago. All my NT boxes are gone, and I aint touching Win2k.
I dont care about this mindless crap of benchmarks... I know what Linux (Redhat or otherwise) has done for me, and that is run, provide a solid server, and make me learn.
I also know what Mickeysoft has done for me also... sure I was into NT and 95 when it first came out... but in the long run, it has done nothing but waste my time redoing configurations, rebooting, and constant upgrading.
Screw Benchmarks, I know which one is dependable in a real world situation, and no benchmark will change my mind.
I have been using Cistron for 2 years now, atleast.
Cistron Radius
RPMS for Cistron with MySQL
Apparently MS doesnt know thier own pricing for calling thier Tech Support with an incident?
I just got an email from J.T.S. Moore, the director. He tells me that the DVD will be out sometime towards the end of the year.
Editplus when I am in Windows, and Quanta / gvim when I am in Linux.
Editplus is a fast easy editor. Quanta is great for HTML stuff especially.

Who cares, the radio sucks anyway.
Thanks Slashdot, now I know who is responsible for shitty music programming.

I guess they feel like everyone MUST be using Windows Media Player... BFD.
GnuCash
Why didn't they just Push it towards the sun, instead of bringing back down?
Congrats to the Torvalds Family!
Put the GPL text on it in 1000 languages.
Hey man, don't feel old... One of my first computer memories is helping my friend and his father put together an Apple from a heathkit..
:)
Wont have memories like that anymore.
I never downloaded his crap anyway..
If I could get G-Force online, I would be good to go.
The last time they patched an OS they called it Windows 98 Second Edition and Sold it to everyone.
My Problem with Microsoft's Response wasn't just about the 28000 real bugs, but that there is a code freeze until they fix these bugs...
Why wasn't this the case with Win9x or NT when these products mattered?
Nice Try Mickeysoft.
Bite Me.

Good luck to MS, but I aint supporting them.
Admitting that you don't know is the acceptance of knowledge.
I guess that those MCSE bootcamps are paying off... anyone cen get certified.
