Are there any other cheap alternative to this? I mean, are others like smc and linksys offering radius support for cheap?
Since we can't trust WEP we need to have everyone support as many security mechanism as possible!
(What is the best way to secure this 802.11b protocole?
What can radius do exactly, i m not very familiar with it, can it create a secure link between authentified client and the server while denying all others and leaving them with a stream of encrypted higher level protocol ?)
And then comes a time when the net will be owned by so little major company that we'll be screwed and have to pay huge somes of money to get a connection?:-/
Now my question is, are these "standards" going to be backward compatible like ethernet on a switch or are we going to see technologie switch every 3 months?
I thought everyone was aware that MS did make their OpenGL implementation slower and slower with each release and thus forcing programmers to use DirectX!
I really hope somethings come out of the court or else we may be doomed.. !
Uhm, you're right, they are evolved robots shaped like humans (go figure why they did that, i would have prefered if they chose flying sphere or something;-)
Yeah i was thinking about the same thing, after using debian for over a year i don't think i could go back to upgrade my distribution from a CD everytime and having to reboot etc...
The problem with slot load is that you can't use mini-CD or buisness card CD etc... as far as i can remember the will fly inside the drive and may break it!:-(
i just tried 2.6, it looked good (besides the fact that i couldnt get color or completion to work in the shell:) but how come they are still keeping everything activated in/etc/inetd.conf ??

He'll be at Linux-Québec meeting's next week for those interested...
I love the idea but as someone who uses his TI-86 a lot in science exams, i would never trade it for a touch screen version!
Well it worked after making the usr/local/games/wolf* dir group owned by my user and chmod g+w *...
I can't join any of those server, i got a progress bar and then it dumped me on the main screen? anyone has the same problem?

Ian Golberg, chief architect of zero knowledge already exposed 802.11 weaknesses a long time ago (or is that something else?)

Heh right on, i know that IRC warrior would use all they can to destroy a person's connection...

Yes, people tryed to register the name and abuse it so it had to be protected some how :)

Yeah, but unfortunetly it wasn't that fun, not the same kind of game etc.. :(

Anyone remember that not-so-old Mac game called Diamond with that disco song that kept looping and looping ? :)
;-)
P.S. Any idea what is the name of that song?
I heard it recently but if i dont have a name, i dont cant't look for it

And how much space do you need for that kind of upgrade? :)

Yeah i was thinking about the same thing, after using debian for over a year i don't think i could go back to upgrade my distribution from a CD everytime and having to reboot etc...
:-)
How does FreeBSD work for that?

Did they change that?

IRC can be used as a secure way of communication by encrypting your discussion with some special addons to your clients.
By the way, most people have private channels and someone looking suspicious like a bot would get kick banned right away!
---
Shouldn't everyone be able to choose their name?
---
heh, what if i have a wearable and i can answer yes to all those questions? ;-P

Woah cool, someone actually remember that great game! I think it also had other special dates :)
