    Celeron/700 64MB RAM thrashed a lot with Hed Rat 8 using GNOME or KDE.

    Installed FVWM 2.4 and it runs like a charm.

    I have an ImageWriter II manual, so I could perhaps try to see about writing a renderer...

    BTW, I should try to find a way to "auto-set" the CPU speed, but I'm not sure how. I'll think of a way, maybe... *sends e-mail to codeveloper*

    Special Edition Using MS-DOS 6.22 (which strangely covered every DOS version at the time *except* 6.22, including Windows 95/98 DOS, PC DOS 7 and DR-DOS 7.02), came with FreeDOS Beta 3.

    I wonder if SEUSO6 will come with OpenOffice for Windows. :}

    If your shell, like 4.4BSD's ash, is POSIX-compliant you may be able to try

    $ set -o emacs

    I don't know if it'll work, but you can try that. You don't get csh-style command history like bash has (!! etc.) but you get the command-line editor.

    I may be wrong and YMMV. Certainly pdksh has command-line editing.

    BTW, I have a WinTV Go! which works admirably on Hed Rat 8.0 Linux with xawtv...

    Anyone know of a program for Linux which supports V4L and allows the use of the Closed Caption feature of the WinTV Go! card?

    This is why I want to implement the Z80 in Dapple ][, otherwise, most of what Apple Oasis supports (not all, just most) is in there. Plus most of Dapple ]['s source is out there (objdump anyone?)
