Big words from someone that won't identify themselves. Where do you live? I bet you live in a fantasy world ourside of the US where everything is perfect, and the roads are lined with gumdrops. "grandmothers being hauled away by SWAT teams" Cite one instance. unless you're targeted by the "war on drugs" Yeah I know it's a pain but drugs are "illegal" in this country. Hard to understand huh? "children" being everyone under 18 years So you are upset you can't get nude pics of girls under 18??? Just looking for a point. The US are a police state ruled by the military-industrial complex. Right. Oh, excuse me sir you dropped you aluminum foil hat.

True. However it would be nice to have a standard sized/colored unit that you do not have to wait to boot up, or worry about crashing. Especially if you are running Windows on your media box. Also hopefully you will not have to worry about things such as power supply problems, fans going bad, etc.

This is coming from the guy that thought the next version of Windows should be built on Linux.
    Allow me to quote him:
"Windows XP is not an operating system"
"The idea of Windows as an operating system is purely a product of the Microsoft marketing department..."
He then goes on to say:
"Even today, you can still get to a C: prompt under Windows XP, which means a disk operating system is hiding there..."

I realize that using unix doesn't necessarily mean recompiling Apache, it's just an example. Unix usually implies a certain amount of efficency.. if there was a gui that could be used to compile apache I know of noone (personally)that would use it aside from new users. Why waste space and memory on a gui when you can use config.nice to recompile? Otherwise it would be called Windows. Command line not necessary on *nix? I will have to politely disagee here.

"Back when Unix meant typing on a command line..." I'm sorry, when did this change? Nobody informed me I don't have to use the command line. Can someone help me figure out how to recompile apache with out it?

Easy solution, require a license to purchase or use one. This would allow it to be limited as needed. Of course that won't stop some jackass from deciding to go through every ring tone available on their phone to find one they like.

They will take your satellite, hold onto it for a few months, and ignore you if you ask about the status. When you do finally get a hold of someone, they will remind you that per the terms of the service, your satellite was %100 at risk. At that point they will inform you that they have flagged your satellite for possible abuse, and already reviewed your case and decided to keep your satellite. If you wish to contest this you will have to go into binding satellite arbitration. http://www.paypalsucks.com/news.shtml
