Another option would be to just go assign a 3 star rating to all your unrated songs, then you rate up/down the good/bad ones from there. Only trick would be that you'd have to remember to rate any new songs you added to your library that way too.

  5. Re:Why the IAFC is against the change on One Step Away from Changing Daylight Savings Time · · Score: 2, Insightful

No, of course there isn't actually more total daylight. But we humans like to keep the times we use to schedule everything constant from day to day. The goal is to maximize the intersection of the interval of time that people are awake and working with the interval of time where there is daylight. Instead of shifting when we wake up, go to work, and go to sleep, we instead just shift the clock and keep our schedules the same.

  6. Not faster, but easier on the hands on Back and Forth Between Qwerty and Dvorak? · · Score: 1

I switched from QWERTY to Dvorak a few years ago, and while I didn't find it was really too much faster, I immediately felt a difference in the strain on my hands. They would start to get tired and sore if I did a decently long session of typing on QWERTY, like an hour or two, but every since switching to Dvorak, I've never felt any significant strain in my hands even after long sessions. I'll buy that it's probably not statistically faster than QWERTY, but I do think it helps reduce the strain on your hands.

Apple hasn't announced anything about what the actual hardware they're going to ship will consist of. They haven't even said specifically which Intel chip(s) they'll ship, much less whether or not they'll use BIOS. The fact that the bare bones machines they're making for their developers have a BIOS doesn't mean squat.
