I sense the sarcasm here, but there have been WPA cracks out since the first round of betas. The activation scheme is closer to a straw man put up to deter _casual_ piracy rather than any serious prevention measure -and XP Pro doesn't even have that.
>>>This kind of leads me to wonder if it isn't ok to hack (test your security, create security based aplications, etc...) but it is ok to crack.
Obviously it is ok to crack. In fact, this was all one massive ploy by the SKAA. The Script Kiddies Association of America is an evil cartel and must be fought! Don't forget to write your congresspeoples.
In Iraq you can't own a typewriter without a military lisence, much less a modem. Coming from an expatriot Iraqi family myself, trust me when I say you have more freedom, even when it _is_ restricted, than you realize.
That said, this is Not Cool TM.
However, IMB hasn't tried to *hamper development* of projects using this strange and unusual UI covention. When they do, I'm returning this world and demanding a better one.
However, the up-and-coming distro redmond linux is based on Corel and certainly fills the linux for dummies void. It is by far the easiest operating system to set up and use that I have encountered. They're doing a good job up there in the city of evil.
What sort of troll is this? Do you want the government mandating what software can or cannot be produced? Of course, once we have spyware out of the way, we should start hunting down those dirty open source terrorist types.
the demo is too horribly slashdotted to take a look at it.
blindly guessing, using a glove for 3d modeling is probably too good to be true. as we see over and over again, if it's too good to be true, you're going to get screwed.
>>>With all of the radioactive interference fromt aht kind of device might as well build in a mini microwave.
add microwave to the list. i demand integration!
Well, it was a hoax. However, it seems quite a few of us saw features we like in this 'utopian operating system,' albiet features that would take ages to implement.
Beyond being bullshit, this could be conceptual thinking in the right direction.
Innovate. Conceptualize. Fool. Good times.

Limewire also hosts a major artery for the gnutella network. I'm willing to be he included router.limewire.[com?org?] as part of that statement.
::realization::
dah. i fed a troll.
I take issue at your groundless assumption regarding others' groundless assumptions. Let's at least wait until the mistakes are made to be critical.
>>>"Anyone adding a wireless hub and laptops for a star+lan party?"
Doesn't it defeat half the geek factor of a lan party if its outdoors? I assume it _is_ outdoors if stars are involved.

Somehow my beautiful new account has negative karma because i was trying to be helpful...er play cop....helpful.
Oh. My. God. You found an error on Slahsdot? Stop the presses, this is real news.
/sarcasm

do I even need to say it? What is this guy's deal?

IIRC, vmware is not free nor free software. If I had money, this would be a different story and VMware would be possible.
..backwards compatible is a fancy way to say obsolete. At least we can hope that nintendo is still around in two years. RIP Sega.
blast. beat me to it.
well?
how long is a year if you aren't living on earth?
Dear Santa,
I would like a digital camera for Christmas. It would really help me make those fake IDs.
