That's fine, do it like all the other people who immigrate, get green cards, etc.
You are aware that you have to live in the US for 5 years before you can apply for a green card? And how are you usually allowed to stay and work for that period? You guessed it - H1B. H1B's is how "all the other people who immigrate" do it.
Is a Perl module or a C++ header analogous to a programmer's Web site? *shudder*
Hm, might seem silly to us, but try explaining to a judge that com.mycompany.app.SomeClass is actually just a Java class that has nothing to do with the company's website.
I just got this mental picture of a bunch of legislator coming across this site and immediately starting to "act on it". When those legislators start acting, watch out!
Can someone point me in the direction of (or briefly explain) the actual (legal) requirements for something to be considered "prior art"?
Whenever a patent story comes up, dozens of people start posting the prior art links, but I get this feeling that in reality the process of finding prior art might be a little more precise that googling for "case with flashing lights".
I don't get it. Why are people not allowed to like or dislike companies? I'm very much within my rights to dislike a company, even for no reason at all. There is just no reason for me to be strictly obejctive about this.
btw, what sort of bastard language is that? Perl style variables, with what looks like java style objects (but all with the method story() and the action in the name of the object - seems a bit backwards), and some god-awful 'within' syntax. - Yikes! Wouldn't want to code that for a living:)
Of course all the animals were radically affected. Approximately half of these animals are now gigantic and are terrorizing Japan as we speak. The other half have become smart-talking, hip ninjas.
Not sure what they meant, but modern genetics isn't anywhere precise enough to detect "approximately 10,000 years worth" of evolution; that's just a tiny amount of time.
Thank you, very informative. And why would I want to search for all this myself when I could just ask knowledgeable people and quickly get a summary of all I wanted to know?:)
All in all error handling in php is better then perl and worse then java.
This I find hard to believe, the only advantage java has over perl in this regard is checked exceptions (and certainly enough arguing has taken place over whether or not this is actually a good thing). So PHP adds a feature over and above perl's Error.pm which insn't quite as good as checked exceptions but enought to make it better?
Anyway, thanks for the answers, this was a very useful troll.
but there is a lot less difference between racism and xenophobia.
I'm a little confused, why the 'sic'?
need a small clarification - I am a "naturalized" citizen, do I get rights or microchipped?

why?
Only thanks to them can I pirate music and then consume it. Such strong, predatory verbs.
Out of curiosity, what is your exact definition of "parody"?
Hm, might seem silly to us, but try explaining to a judge that com.mycompany.app.SomeClass is actually just a Java class that has nothing to do with the company's website.
The CRT-based vi is still available though, right?
Wait, so which do I need to get this - KDE or Outlook?

They are, this on the other hand, is a hoax, not a parody.
The only part that's funny is reading the three page posts from people who are taking it seriously. (but that part is funny indeed)
I just got scared for a bit :)
re: ignore.story(); - there's a "in soviet union, method invokes you" joke in there somewhere
New analogy needed: Free as in Speech, Free as in Beer, or Free as in "not".
Damn that'd be a cool name though.
How's that pronounced, anyway? Mee-nooks? Mai-naks? Wouldn't MUNIX sound a little better?
What were they supposed to call it? Linux?

We'll all talk really quietly.
hehe, good one.

Except that you are not prohibited from telling others what you read in the manual. At least the way I understand it.
