I agree that in the long term space travel will be deemed very important. However, that does not create the funds to pay for it. You sidestepped my point, which is that we cannot afford it.
You answered your own question - in the long term it will be very important. Try reading up on some of the mission objectives and payloads before you categorically deny that no "great innovations" have resulted. Long-term missions and space habitability experience cannot be solved on paper.
You make the knee-jerk assumption (as did the activists that put the names on the website) that anyone who signed it is in favor of it. A signature simply means that the person feels the issue is important enough that people should vote on it. To assume more makes you the one who's not open minded.
To put things into perspective, since you obviously have forgotten. At this point in W's first term, we were one month post-911.
So, by all means, please elaborate on this "far more peaceful action".
Same here - 8 yrs ago a titanium rod was put through the middle of my left humerus. Still there today, doc said removal was only necessary if it caused problems.
I'd love to set a system up for my truck - a camera in each detection. It only records when it detects motion while off - records full time while driving.
If Christianity is holding back the space program, wouldn't Christianity be pushing for a stop to the space program?
You're either trolling or too mired in your agenda to be able to think rationally.
As I read through the comments here, this seems to be a common theme. For those who don't touch type, they can't conceive how learning to do so would make them more productive. For those that do touch type, they can't imagine NOT knowing how to.
Even giving it a 25% increase (which is more than it's likely to be) would be negligible.
Tell ya what, let's call it a 10% increase. I'll go home every Friday at noon while you stay until 5:00.;)
Maybe he was expecting that everyone would perceive his meaningless post bitching about meaningless posts being, well, meaningful.

Unless you subscribe, you're whining that your free beer isn't cold.
Except vaccines don't wear shoes.
When there's 51 possible choices for someone who's interested in an Android phone
How many people are interested in a phone because of its OS? I think features & price are what the vast majority of people will be looking at...

You're drawing conclusions from 1/2 the story, but I guess if it fits the agenda...
Do you really think that someone needs to push a button to let the machine know what happened?
Of course you you just put money down on one number, your an idiot.
Not if you play long enough. If you play through 37 or 38 spins, you're right back there with the close to 50/50 odds.
Wasn't the question plural?

Try igniting it with a lit cigarette. Bonus points if you can figure out why it doesn't ignite.

They probably also used the floors to stand on.
And you realize that no matter what you say, you're a pimply fat dude who lives in his parents' basement and has only been laid by his right hand.
Turn about is fair play.
Meh, the only ones I remember failing PE were the ones who either skipped class or refused to do anything.

MRI techs don't call themselves doctors, why do you call yourself an engineer?
Dude - a little reference for you on the makers of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. DDR? And every automobile is a copy of the Model T, right?
