    The "spyware" complaints have persisted for years after someone found one rogue chunk of code that sent us a lot of useless information that was going in the bit bucket (if you look at what was being collected, it really wasn't interesting).

    Conspiricy theories are a dime a dozen. What can you do except laugh at them?

    Did you know that some people say the moon landings were faked! *shocked expression*

    Try it yourself, encode a song you like from the original CD to 64k RealAudio in RealOne.

    Whether you may like it or not 64k RealAudio is way more equal to 128k MP3 than 64k MP3.

    The point I came away with was "Why did it take so long to adapt?" Before you go off and say "duh!" again, think about it. Given a balance beam, how tries do you think it would take you before you could walk on it without having any balance problems? Once? Twice? Three times? Maybe zero? So why did it take the astronauts FIFTEEN DAYS before their "timing" even STARTED adapting to zero g? Unless the experiment consisted of only "thowing" the ball one time in each day of the expriment, the outcome is contrary to normal human adaption. Just my two cents.....

    The point of the article wasn't that the astronauts were off. Like you said, duh, that is going to be a given.

    If Netscape had a browser that was as good as IE it would still be in the game.

    Microsoft wouldn't even have IE if they didn't buy it, but they do a great job at skining the products they buy. I have to be fair though, I know there definatly was/still is contorversy over how Netscape got its browser.

    Will someone confirm/correct this for me. After NT3 my knowlege is limited to what I have read.

    WinXP -> Win2k -> NT4 -> NT3.51 -> NT3 -> ... -> IBM OS/2 version 3.

    AFAIK, Microsoft got (or was allowed to purchase) OS/2 version 3 in the fallout from litigation with IBM. At least that's what I remember my A+ cramexam book saying. Please correct me.

    Speaking of which, does anyone know who Microsoft bought from, the componets of MS Office? and Media Player for that matter?
