    Step 1 : check an image from TV, say every 15 minutes or so.

    Step 2 : if no image can be detected (and even in the complete darkness with only the TV light tehre will be an image with contrast light/darkness) announce "no person detected" , then show an automatic shutdown in a few minutes message.

    Step 3 : announce this feature in the manual as a power saving measure.

    And tehre are similar stuff for gun convention (one of the weapomn show had sexy fashion model on their tank), I even saw it at downright other normal book convention.

    I am not saying it is good, It annoy me too, but game convention are not the only one it happens. but domain which are seen by publisher as populated by men, they misuse sex appeal as advertising. And before you says me "but but there is 50% women in gaming!", check it up : triple AAA is still sadly the province of the young man/male teenager where they dwell in majority.

    Please explain us how they can do that, without bricking the PS4 for people without entwork for it, in country where consumer protection exists, without getting an huge backlash from the law and consumer protection agencies. Please do it. This is not like PS2 emulation loss or other OS , it is downright bricking the machine for its MAIN usage. Note that I am not speaking of multiplayer game or buying digital which would mean anyway you have a connection, I am speaking of single palyer game, people like me, which do not have their PS3 (and almost certainly PS4) connected at all. PS: I am not an exception, in fact from all people I know with various dining room TV console, only 2 have it connected.

    should be fixed to "GM is tested to catch eventuel allergy to people. Which is why GM soy with nut growth protein was stopped and never marketed : it was actually provocating allergy reaction in nut-allergic people". See Wiki on GM soy for reference.

    Otehrwise , I fully agree with you : GM are "generally" safe. I don't care if my wheat is GM or not.

    I said 95+% . Which is an acceptable short hand for "more than 95%". I dislike PETA for various reason, their killings of Pets, their hypocrisy for a long time on their leader using animal produced insuline, and various other factors. But PETA kills only a few en thousand pets, whereas animal shelter kills millions. So de fact PETA kill in absolute number less, but in proportion animal shelters give far far more to adoption, then the few hundred which somehow PETA did not kill (maybe they escaped ;)).

    Most of the low-middle or lower class folk, once they paid for food, rent, isnurance, and gas, have next to nothing left. How do you propose they would buy share ? How do you propose they would buy enough that they would live on the dividend (which would be what , 3-5% in average ? Meaning they would have to invest upfront 20 time the amount they need to live per year) ? What do you propose they do if the company fold and their share are worthless ?

    No what will happen is that the lower class will grow , until it reaches a spot where the lower class has nothing to lose in looting/rampaging a bloodshed, then at this point society correct itself by having more non automated duty, or economy crashes due to nobody having money to buy stuff, so company folds and robot investment get too expansive so only manual labor company get enough money, and that happen in a cycle until our life condition reach the same as developping country or a sweet spot is reached between manual labor/automated labor.

    But knowing the greed of those of the upper class, I would bet bloodshed rather than sweet spot.

I am willing to bet they set up the price of the seed so that it is not too painful as to kill the market, but more expansive as still make it a good revenue source for them. If it was not the case, you would not have the 90% using the modified seed.

    False negative are the problem. False positive are OK if they are low enough. Effectively even if there is a 20% false positive rate, that means 80% of the time somebody not you trying to use your gun will fail. Better than the current 0% failure 100% sucess today. Bad guys would find the gun less interresting to steal, if they can't get their hand on the reprogramming tech or it is too expansive (and it would still be easier to steal a classical one not needing reprogramming).
