Californians would continue to buy from Amazon. The pullout only ensures that no one buys Californian goods from them. Currently, I buy a lot of stuff from California vendors, thus stimulating California's economy. This helpful tax would have ensured that I sent zero dollars whatsoever to CA.
I fail to see how this situation helps CA, or hurts Amazon.
It proves that some Canadian glaciers are eating too much processed American-style fast food. And I, for one, would like to know what we are going to do about it!
Err, rather, I am suggesting that, for those who *do* take the Bible seriously, they need to be more inquisitive and deliberate, rather than the trite expression "Bible says it; I believe it." An interest in ancient history, as well as ancient Hebrew and Greek, are helpful in this regard. It is unfortunate that so many non-literate* Christians down here in the Bible Belt really don't know what their Bible is saying.
*I say "non-literate" because they can read... they just choose not to.
A literal reading of the English translation by a modern westerner is not the same as a literal reading of the ancient Hebrew by an ancient Jew. Hell, there are idioms in the Torah that we still don't know the meaning of.
Mathematicians come the closest to a deep understanding of philosophy. After all, mathematics started out as a "philosophical" science. Then again, I'm not sure how well other scientists take to calling a pure mathematician a "scientist."
I have a Mac for Photoshop, a Windows box for WOW, and a Linux box for productivity. I am filled with such self-loathing I can barely keep my own hands from strangling me.
Then, on top of THAT, I have emacs and vim installed. You know what? Lemme go get a noose.
Price and wage controls, economic planning, progressive taxation, ceding individual property rights to the central government, no right to bear arms, comprehensive social welfare.
These some of the original cornerstones of fascist ideology. I fail to see how they square with the American right-wing (note that militarism, nationalism and etho-centrism, the other pillars of fascism, plague communist and socialist countries, also). In any event, early fascists called themselves both anti-marxist, anti-capitalist, and anti-clerical. That claim seems accurate; making most modern uses of "fascist" as an epithet ridiculous.
I have the exact opposite impression. It wasn't until the 4.0 revamp of the 1-60 zones that I ever actually enjoyed leveling. It felt more lore-connected, and the quests were more varied and interesting. Before 4.0, I only ever leveled one character to 60. Since then, I've leveled 7 alts just to experience all the starter zones.
I guess an "Apple fanboy" is anyone who thinks spending $35 for yet another Mario game is too much, then? I didn't know 'droid users were Apple fanboys. Thanks for setting the record straight.
It depends on which one. The crappy ones I play once. The good ones I'll play for hours (especially social ones). I spend more time on Zynga "With Friends" games than I care to admit.

Is that a metric Giza Pyramid, or a US/Imperial Giza Pyramid?

Well, we have to send someone to go look for those warm-earth analogs. Eh... why not? Sure.

No, no, it's different than, not dufferent than.
She went on morning shows saying Gardisil caused retardation in young girls. She's a kook.
If RedState or DKos said drinking rubbing alcohol was bad, would you immediately run to the medicine cabinet for a swig?
Am I the only one who noticed he didn't call it GNU/Linux? Is he finally conceding on that point?
Every time you borrow my air, you are stealing from me. Please stop.
I knew what a panacea was when I was in middle school.
Then again, I did get beaten up a lot...

Because they aren't choosing.
You're assuming he gets invitations.
Also, tools are lang-- err, relig--, err... I got nuthin'.
India is not a part of Madagascar.

Levels 60-70 are still suck-tastic, though.
I was being generous to the DS for the sake of argument.

That adds another point in the iPhone/iPad's favor. There are no free "Lite" versions of DS games to see if you like them first.
As an addendum to my previous post: I have a Nintendo DS. I have never played any of my DS games as long as I've played Bejeweled on my iPhone.
