Hardwick case was revisited and overturned decades later with the majority opinion admitting the SCOTUS had been "wrong".

I call BS on that... The ACA benefits are the same for all policies whether in the exchange or not. They are the minimum ALL policies must have. And about complaining about stuff you'll never use, you don't really understand how insurance works insurance do you?
As for me, I've signed up, paid for it and am receiving benefits from it. I had gone for 2 years without and could not get insurance back because of pre-existing conditions. Now, thanks to the ACA, I have it and I have services and deductibles comparable to what I had before plus the new ACA benefits. And the policy cost is about $120 LESS per month than what I was paying before . And there is the exchange subsidy on top of that.
The cost of insurance before "ObamaCare" was also "Insane" so quit blaming the high prices on the ACA. If anything, since the ACA was passed, the annual rate of insurance increases has slowed dramatically. The very fact that you can get a private health plan with no restrictions for pre-existing conditions - which most of us have in some form -- should be a cause for appreciation.
The long term effect will likely be that people in small business and small 1 person companies will indeed carry private individual plans. I like the prospect of not being tied to a job because of health insurance. I also like the prospect of not having to work 2 or more jobs just to be able to get it.
Absent any other directive of the board to express particular values. For example, Google says its goal is not to maximize quarterly profits but to add value over time. If you don't like that approach, then don't invest. This was set out in its IPO and by-laws. Boards of Directors can also make such policy decisions.
The best way is to allow cities and counties to create municipal fiber utilities that provide uniform and universal access of its citizens to ISP's. Municipalities can require multiple ISP's to service the city providing service level and price competition. The capital outlay for the fiber infrastructure is born by the city/county and is capitalized in use fees. Cities would set SLA standards for customer service response and repair times. Penalties for non-compliance and the right to replace ISP's that don't perform.
We would get the fastest and most robust internet connections available on the planet. We would get TV and phone service bundled on one wire. We would get lower monthly bills.
I'm shocked to find out that Liberal and Libertarian Washington State is trying to interfere with Tesla's business model. Washington has the most Tesla sales per capita and yet these legislators obviously paid off by the auto dealers has put forward a bill that would stop Telsa from adding stores.
If the people of Canada think this is horrid and despicable, they only have to look into the mirror to see who is responsible for electing a Tory government. Next thing you know, your precious universal health care will be under siege. Wake up neighbors!!!
Because ultimately its worth and value will lie in its exchangeability for REAL currencies. Sovereign governments do not take kindly to their currencies or their sovereignty being threatened.
United States citizens need to consider that transactions for US based events that are not denominated in dollars could be considered barter units and have different taxable implications. Such taxes must be paid in US dollars. So ultimately, you're going to have to cough up real US dollars sometime.
Basically, if the United States Britain, and Japan follows China's lead, Bitcoin would be completely worthless.

But seriously, Long term, Office and Windows are doomed. There is some interesting tech in Xbox Connect that could create some game changing product categories in enterprises such as Medical Tech etc. Bing, is the only thing that I can see that could even approach giving Google a ride but it's way too far behind. These 2 divisions should be spun off or at least unleashed (e.g. MSFT retains an ownership stake but takes them public) and run on a profitable basis (if they can). The bureaucracy at MSFT is killing innovation.
The other interesting things MSFT is doing are their Azure platform and universal identity management. But a mistrustful tech community will hamper adoption of these products.
Where has he done this? Road diets increase traffic throughput and make them safe for pedestrians and vehicles to coexist. There has been no roads made bicycle only under his watch.
Did a little sleuthing and discovered they're using an F5 load balancer in front of it (at least my state exchange is). I'm rather shocked that they chose a classical client/server architecture and not say, a cloud architecture for this. This could have been written on Google's cloud or Amazon's or OpenStack even and probably done a much better job of handling this load.
I would surmise that HIPPA requirements may have made cloud architecture problematic.
People typically stop for breaks every 200 or so miles on long road trips. Use the bathroom, get a snack, stretch your legs, pump the gas etc. So, if you're going to stop anyways, you can do it at a SuperCharger.
o-O, With a Tesla, you could comfortably travel between Seattle and Portland one way without recharging. Or Seattle and Vancouver Canada, or SFO Sacramento, or LA SAN Diego. Super Chargers are already in most of those pathways as well as other public charging stations. So for many longer trips, a Tesla is going to do just fine.
