I'm really glad to see the Texas seal on this document. It's really disturbed me to see Texas just standing by and ignoring the spam problem. I personally think any spammers caught in-state should be roped and dragged to the middle town to let the people decide what to do with them. We're already proud to be #1 in executions, cowboy justice would just up our position.

Hmm, wonder if I can get the source to Carnivore under the Freedom of Information Act?
Works by the U. S. Government are not eligible for U. S. copyright protection. For works published on and after March 1, 1989, the previous notice requirement for works consisting primarily of one or more U. S. Government works has been eliminated. However, use of a notice on such a work will defeat a claim of innocent infringement as previously described provided the notice also includes a statement that identifies either those portions of the work in which copyright is claimed or those portions that constitute U. S. Government material.
Copies of works published before March 1, 1989, that consist primarily of one or more works of the U. S. Government should have a notice and the identifying statement.

Ham, thats better than my plan of just hoping they dropped by a Star Bucks or an open node and have the Wi-Fi upload to an FTP server like mad. I also considered a cellular card, communications was my biggest concern.
The nice thing about recording it yourself:

That almost sounds like a good idea actually. It would prevent a lot of dead people from voting for one thing, but that would of course throw the whole secret ballot concept out the window.

I've been coming up with an in-car multi-angled record to HDD system to. Only mine was because of cops, help me to get out of tickets like the one that speed trapped me from behind a line of bushes last week. I was planing to use Freevo or simular, a notebook some webcams and wireless lan so if the car got jacked I could get pictures of the driver and their surroundings. I was also trying to figure out how to get a finger print scanner hidden in an unsuspecting place, like the gear shift.
I still had to send the IRS my W2 forms when I filed online (the only time) they made me send my W2 forms in anyways. But if I filed by phone they took my voice as my signature, at least that was the IRS' answer when asked. Never once did the file by phone ask you to speak, it was touch tone the whole way, a mute could use it. Whats the point of going electronic if you can't go electronic? ALL federal tax's should be freely doable on their website.
The normal rage is bad enough, I can't even play the original UnrealTournament on the mobile rage with Linux, though the Windows version works just fine.
The only way I can think of to make electronic voting work securely is to register every citizen, implant a chip under out skin that has an ID number, and use our fingerprint/retina for a pin. This would solve nearly every security problem out there, including voting. Plus no passwords to remember.

I bought the first 64MB DDR Radeon right after it came out. I held on to the card for months waiting for ATI to release a driver, didn't happen. I heard of people having sucess getting 3D acceleration to work, but I could never duplicate that success.
Finally after months of waiting I traded my Radeon to my roommate and got a GeForce 2 Pro with 64MB of DDR. Runs beutifully on Linux, I even play UT2K3 with it on an Athlon 850. Finally after having the GeForce2 for about four months I happen across a site that tells me how to make 3D acceleration work for the Radeon. To late now, I'm happy with my GeForce, and UT2K3 seems to only really want to work with nVidia anyways.
I don't think drivers are the best way to defend ATI considering they tend to shrug off other OS's and nVidia has committed themselves to supporting Alternate OS's.
Okay, so I forgot their names. I've listened to them and tried to give them a fair shake, it just didn't work. I've thought about calling them daily to remind them they suck, but there are others that do that for me, and besides it may count their rating is boosted.

Wonder what the law enforcement officials in Oklahoma thought when they saw a drove of Texas Highway Patrol officers storm one of their hotels?

Of course you can always print to a PDF and fix from there. Unecessarily difficult but it sure beats having to go back and fix it by hand.
