Actually the russians were were right, as long as they stayed in Russia they FBI couldn't do anything to them. Thats why the FBI had to lure them to the States.

It's true that the repressive, corrupt Communist institutions "disappeared" after 1989. However, Russia has continued to have problems throughout the nineties and into the present. Many Party members were quick to take advantage of the new political reality in Russia, aligning themselves with the new democratic parties for personal gain. Corruption runs rampant in Russia, might still makes right, need continues to justify excess and brutality (see the Russian mafia)and the "looters by law" continue to operate under a different guise. I think this is what he's trying to say.

Umm, have you played the game? Its really not very political at all. I find that some people like to politicize the apolitical in order to push their own agendas. People who promote sites like boycottisraeligoods.org for example...

He can be annoyed all he wants, but his post stated that he was annoyed because the terms "first world" ... are invalid. This is clearly not the case as evidenced by the fact that they convey their generally accepted meaning. In your example we understand what the person is saying DESPITE the fact that the meaning of the word "literally" is not conveying its generally accepted meaning.....Nice Straw Man argument though...props to you and thanks for playing

Sorry, but that's clearly wrong. First World, Second World and Third World are perfectly valid terms. You understood what the author meant when they were used right? Just because you may not like these terms (for for whatever reason) does not mean that they cease to be relevant.

Obviously you are a profit center to Intuit, or any other company for that matter. This "valued customer" crap is just marketing BS designed to make you feel important. Intuit doesn't care about you and you should not care about them. If you like their software, buy it. If not, don't buy it. But don't imply that they owe you something as a "valued customer" who has used their product for years.

In order for this to be barraty there would need to be persistent instigation of groundless lawsuits. In this case the action was not persistent (in fact it was withdrawn with an apology) and therefore it is not barraty. bleh..slow day at work...

Digital Exchange Access (DEA) Line-side and V-Net Service, which do not support the transmission of calling party number comprise a large percentage of line-side connections.
