    not sure i want to trust a computer to fly a jet when they wont even test it in windy conditions... and what about bad weather? hm...

    Obviously... more people are using linux than windows now to run their useful servers. Why would anyone want to attack a worthless win95,98,98se,xp,me computer when there's a juicy unpatched linux box sitting right there, with all the guts and glory?

    They are declaring that they have the related patents. That's basically hanging openGL right there... fuck it though.. if they decide to do away with openGL, if their 'rights' will allow them in any possible way, then I say we start all over with something new.. hell might as well get to work on it right now...

    The printing industry doesn't even compare to Sony's PS2 market. Had they sold their PS2 for $80 and charged you $150 per game, and made you renew your license on the game every month or so, then it would be similar.

    I've put up with my lexmark and its $40-$50 cartridges simply because it's no better for any other company. You would think a company would come along and sell their printer for a higher price, and drop the ink price... that would drive everyone out of business no? I know I sure as hell would buy it, along with pretty much everyone I know...

    Maybe its not so much about being tracked individualy until you do something wrong and are on the run... then perhaps it might come in handy to know the person's grocery buying patterns...

    Yes more people are indeed making more of their own music. But then again there are other artists out there that aren't popular enough for radio, but actually have talent, and now they're being heard. Which is the whole point of making music is it not?

    Even better the corporate bastards have no control over it.

    Actually I agree with this. These days I know so many more people that don't listen to the bullshit played on the radio. Imagine.. people actually deciding for themselves what kind of music they want to listen to! Incredible... Fuck the RIAA.. I know this point has been brought up numerous times (or should have been) but I'm gonna say it again.. if they can't deal with changing times, fuck them.. go out of business like everyone else, or change with the times. Sons of bitches.

    Best Buy always has been a shithole with a lot of good stuff. They treat you like dirt when you go there. Walk in and ask to see a $2500 machine, ask for some details.. and see if you get even the time of day... fuck that store, they're worthless.. Good thing I always just steal from them instead... its much easier than trying to be their customer.
